Y/N and Amanda saw the memory version of the former stride into the S.W.O.R.D headquarters.
"Look, Wanda wasn't able to find his body. I know you have him," Y/N uttered.
"I'm sorry, but like I said,"
"Please, please," she stopped her pleas when her voice wavered, "When I came back, Wanda—" she pressed her lips together when they wobbled, "Vision was gone. His body—I just wanna give my best friend a funeral. It's the least I can do for him. It's the least I can do for Wanda,"
The telephone on the reception counter rang and the man answered it, "Yes sir," The man turned his gaze up at Y/N, "Yes sir, she's still here."
Y/N scoffed, tilted her head, and glared at the security camera.
"....Of course," he set down the telephone and turned to the Y/N, "Through the doors. Down the Hall. Two lefts and a right,"
Nodding stiffly, she walked towards the door, pushing herself away from the reception.
"One moment. I have to buzz you in," the man stood up from his chair.
"I got it, thanks," Y/N declined and sent a sphere of green mist, blasting the door open. She continued to walk down the hall as the man informed her, passing many SWORD officials who pointed at her and whispered behind their hands.
Y/N soon reached a deserted corridor and a door to her right beeped open. She pushed open the door and saw a man in blue suit stand up from his chair.
"Y/N L/N?" the man said, "It's an honour to meet you,"
"And you are?" Y/N retorted, ignoring his words.
"Director Tyler Hayward. I understand you're here to see the Vision. To recover the body, that is. Is that right?" asked Hayward.
"I'm his next of kin after Wanda," she seethed at him in rage, "And Wanda—" she stopped herself.
"I understand," he nodded. "I'd like to show you something,"
"And then you'll give him to me?"
Hayward grimaced slightly, "Please, just, come with me" and he opened the glass door next to him, leading them to a balcony.
Y/N walked over and looked down through the glass. There were men in hazmat suits; drilling and connecting wires. She couldn't clearly see what was going on down there.
"What is this? Why are you showing this to us?" she glanced to Hayward.
"Because you asked to see it," Hayward replied.
"What do you—" Y/N stammered, turning back around.
A hazmat suit moved away to reveal a head— Vision. Y/N took a sharp breath and turned around, covering her mouth with her hand.
"Stop....Stop...Stop it," she whimpered as her eyes started to get heavy, "What... What are you doing to him?"
"We're dismantling, the most sophisticated sentient weapon ever made," Hayward explained in a monotone voice.
