Chapter 1 - 2: Winter's Friends

Emma: "Awww, Why not? You don't want me talking about your future prince again?~"

Winter: "I have no future prince."

Trace got up and told the two she was gonna go get the snacks, Then heads straight for the kitchen.

Emma: "Oh C'mon! You have so many guys in Cryteria that wanna take you out on a date."

Winter: "And I bet most of them are idiots."

Emma agreed with her on that part, But then she tells her that there may be some other guys who are genuinely nice and wanna make her happy. Winter understood this, But she's still not interested. Saying that they should be with other nice girls instead of herself.

Emma: "But what if some of them don't want other nice girls?~"

Winter: "Then they'll get the same treatment like those other morons."

The Princess is aware that the guys are attracted to her and wanting to show her a good time. But she has no interest in that kind of thing, It just wasn't her thing.

Winter: "And besides, I don't need a Prince. I can run a Kingdom on my own. I've proven I can."

Emma: "You will someday~"

Winter: "No, there won't be a someday. It's always gonna be a never. And in case anyone tries to pull off that old school force the princess into marrying a Prince or some Prince from Another Kingdom to keep the alliance thing, I made it so that Princesses of Cryteria are never to be force to marry any male of any kind. They are allowed to marry whoever they please. And if she doesn't wish to marry, She doesn't have to. The same thing applies for any future Prince of Cryteria, They aren't forced into marriage. They marry whoever they please."

Trace, returning to them with the snacks, heard what Winter said and asked "What about the citizens? We aren't Princesses or Princes, But we get forced to marry. At least, we used to in Cryteria."

Winter: "Yeah, I remember, and I didn't like that law. I changed it and made it so that no citizen of any kind is forced into marriage. Both men and women are allowed to marry whoever they wish. If anyone tries to force anyone to marry, they'll be thrown in Dungeon Island without a trial."

Which reminded her that she made it so that she can have anyone thrown in Dungeon Island with or without a trail. Some see it as tyranny, But she sees it as a way to teach anyone a lesson.

Trace: "That's a relief, Frost was an awful king. That force to marriage thing was terrible for women. He didn't care about how they felt, He only cares about his own interest. So that if he wants to marry one of them, He can and their not allowed to say no."

Derek the Advisor: "How did that guy even become a king?"

Winter: "I often wonder that sometimes."

Winter often wonders why someone like him could ever be allowed to be king, She guesses that back then Cryteria was more brutal and cruel.

Winter: "I bet he doesn't take care of his advisors."

Emma: "He doesn't. I heard that whenever his advisors get sick, He still makes them work when they shouldn't."

Winter: "He's certainly not like me, I take care of my advisors. I often tell them they should take the day off until they get better. But...on rare cases, I act as their nurse, and satisfy their every need."

Emma: "Oooh~"

Winter: "Not like that, Emma!"

She turned away and crossed her arms over her chest, then puffs her cheeks.

Winter: "I mean that I get them what they need! Like food if their hungry!"

Emma: "Nah, It's more to it than that~"

Winter: "No it's not! Trace, tell her!"

Derek listens on the conversation while Trace tried to explain to Emma what Winter's trying to say. But her acting as a nurse for her advisors, It was true. He so happened to be one of them in the past. He remembers when he was sick and couldn't work because of it, He thought that she was gonna have him sent home on his day off.

That wasn't the case however.

Mini Flashback

The Winter Palace - Patience Room

Five Months Ago

Derek the Advisor was on his bed, resting since Winter found out that he was sick. Winter had order him to go rest in the Patience Room and stay there until he got better, and the nurse would also be there for the time being.

After a while of resting, His eyes were opening up as his blur vision began to slowly fade. He notices a shadow figure standing on the side of the door, and at first he had no idea who that was. To his surprise when his vision became clear, It was Winter Snowflake dressed in a cute nurse dress with a nurse hat on her head.

Winter: "Hey, Derek. You finally awake?"

Derek the Advisor: "W-Winter? What're you doing here??"

Winter: "I'm gonna be your nurse for a while. And don't worry, I'll make sure to take good care of you~"

Through the time, She gave him medicine and prepared a nice warm soup for him. And eventually, Derek got better and was back to doing his work. He was honestly amazed on her performance as a nurse, But he doesn't know that Winter also has experience in medical help and such. It makes him believe that she can almost do anything, and that's what he loved about her.
