Chapter 2 - 8: More Experienced

Scorch can see how angry she looks, and he decides to taunt her.

Scorch: "Why the angry look? Is it because you're losing?"

Winter: "You literally tried to harm my people! Why else would I look so angry?!"

Scorch: "Actually, I was trying to harm you. I didn't know these people were here."

Winter: "DOESN'T MATTER! You know how I feel about innocent lives getting hurt! Especially my own!"

Scorch: "Oh stop pretending you care about innocent people. We both know in the end you don't, Because everything you're doing is just an act."

After he spoke out his last sentence to her verbally, This only fueled her with even more anger. Saying that protecting her citizens from dangerous foes like him is an act is a lie that she won't take. She instantly dashes and tackles him onto the ground. The tackle was so heavy that both of them were sliding yards away from the bakery, far enough that people won't get hurt by the resuming battle.

Winter was on top of Scorch, with her hand on his neck in a tight grip.

Winter: "I never should've let you go! I should've stuck with my word and thrown you to dungeon island! Which is what I'll do now!"

After the Princess shouted this to Scorch, He used his body to unleash a shockwave strong enough to push her off of him.

Winter made a quick recovery and landed onto the ground, Where she witnessed Scorch stand up with his arm and hand being wrapped with his flames, as well as his sinister grin.

Scorch: "Not if you can't beat me!"

Scorch thrusts his hand forward, and unleashes a fire in the shape of a rocket. It was coming at nine hundred miles per hour, and aiming for the Princess, Who easily evaded with a quick dash to the right. He didn't stop there though, He unleashes another one toward her, and she easily evades that one as well. With a quick dash to the left.

This is where he started to fire a few burst rockets toward her, As the Princess relies on her speed and quick reflexes to evade every single one. So far, she has managed to dodge five of them. But he was still firing more. "How has he not run out of his Element?" She wondered while her eyes remained in contact with Scorch, And that's when she heard someone contacting her through her band. 

This was bad timing since Winter is in the middle of a battle. Though, She decided to answer it so she can tell whoever it is that she's in the middle of something very important.

To her shock, It was her best friend. Emma.

Emma (On Communication: "Winter!")

Winter: "Can't talk. Busy."

Another Burst Rocket was targeting Winter, But she leaps over it, landing on top of a building. Her eyes still remain in contact with Scorch.

Emma (On Communication: "It'll only take a few minutes, I need to tell you something.")

She sees yet another burst rocket coming straight at her, She leap up in the sky and the rocket instead hits the same building she was standing on. It exploded with fire, causing it to collapse, as well as the glass windows shatter.

Winter: "I'm in the middle of something right now! Can it wait till later?!"

Emma (On Communication: "It can't, It's really important.")

Winter had activated Flight Mode after leaping out of the building she was standing on, So it was easy for her to use Snow Vanish when a Burst Rocket came targeting her. She reappeared after it passes through the after effect of Snow Vanish.
