Location: The Flaming Palace (The Security Room)
As the fight continues on, Alden, Storm, and Two Security Guards were watching it through the surveillance feed. So far, They see that Scorch and Sapphira were keeping up with Winter, As they are on defense.
While Winter is on the offense, trying to overwhelm and confuse them. However, This does give Alden a slight bit of hope. The same to the Security Guards.
Security Guard (Male Turtle): "This is good news! All they have to do is keep her at bay until help arrives."
Alden: "Or they could just knock her out."
Commander Storm: "No, that won't work."
Alden: "What?! How?!"
Commander Storm: "If you pay close attention to Scorch and Sapphira, You'll notice that those two are very cautious on their approach. They won't rush in and attack her like she's attacking them. While they are countering and protecting each other, They don't want to risk getting up close and personal."
Alden: "But they're both well trained fighters! They can take her down with no problems!"
Commander Storm: "Yes. They are well trained fighters. But we can't forget that Winter is a formidable opponent. One Mistake, and It'll be the end of them."
Alden: "...Fantastic..."
Commander Storm: "Fear not. The best thing we can do now is wait until help comes to their aid."
Security Guard 2 (Male Hyena): "Why not just contact Summer?"
The Second Security Guard pointed this out to Alden, Storm and The First Security Guard.
Security Guard 2 (Male Hyena): "Think about it, It would make more sense to do that than just simply wait for help to magically come to their aid."
Security Guard (Male Turtle): "...Yeah, that would make sense. Plus they'll be able to take on Winter much more easily."
Alden: "Then it's settled, We'll get in contact with Summer."
Scorch (On Communication: "NO! Don't send anyone!!")
This was quite surprising to hear Scorch, Until they realized that they accidentally left communications on. He must've heard what they were saying as he was focused on Winter.
Scorch: "Look, I get it, You want to help us. And Even though Summer sent us to deal with her, She still has to fight to protect this kingdom...But I have spent six months plotting my revenge against her, and not a day goes by where I don't think about the things she's done. Or the day she killed my Serenity. I hate replaying that event in my head. It makes me wish I could go back in time and prevent it from happening...But it also motivates me. It makes me stronger, faster, wiser, It helps me to push on and keep fighting. Even if the odds are against me. I don't care how strong she is or how great and powerful they claim her to be...I will crush her! And I'll do it my own way..."
"...This fight is my fight...And I don't want any of you to interfere..."
When hearing this, Storm can understand why he didn't want anyone to help him. It's not only to protect the flaming palace, It's also to avenge the person he loved. He would have done the same if he was in his shoes.
But for Alden, This was worrisome. He knew that Scorch will not stop until his vengeance is satisfied. Even Sapphira felt the same way, And she usually doesn't care.
Commander Storm (On Communication): "We won't send anyone."
Alden (On Communication): "Just do your best to stop her. Both of you."
