As they travel on the road, Black Ice asked if she got what she needed there.
Winter: "Mhm! Derek!"
She called his name as she started to remove her Princess Band on her wrist, while placing her knee on the steering wheel.
Winter: "Could you type in the code for me?"
Derek the Advisor: "Of course, Winter!"
She thank him and gave him her band, along with giving him the code. Derek then began to type in the code for the military base.
Black Ice: "...By the way, I wanted to tell you something. I've noticed that you're always out in the world without any bodyguards."
Winter: "That's because I don't need them, I can fair in battle without anyone's help. I'm my own bodyguard."
Black Ice: "While that may be true, There are gonna be times where someone is gonna try to assassinate you. Or maybe try and kidnap you into slavery or something worse than that. Some people who know how powerful you are could do research about you and use what you have against you. Even to deceive you. And not to mention some people have weird fantasies about you, and are willing to do anything to make it come true...You care about your citizens, I know. But people will be people. You'll never know what a person may think in their heads, and some are mentally unwell. Some will think you came from hell and try to get rid of you."
Derek the Advisor: "I agree with him, Winter. People in this world can be very unpredictable. A militia group could be plotting against you as we speak, Which is why it is necessary to have a group of people to protect you if these kinds of scenarios ever occur."
Winter: "....Icy, could you contact Aster for me? I'll give you his band number."
Black Ice: "Sure."
Black Ice gets into his band, and pulls up his contacts.
Black Ice: "Okay, What's the number?"
Winter tells him the number is 2557-3123-87. He types the numbers as she told him, presses the call button, and waited for Aster to pick up. It took seven seconds to answer his band and say "You have some nerve calling me, Stranger. Who is it?"
Winter: "Your Princess from Cryteria, I'm calling from my friend's number."
Aster (On Communication: "Princess?!")
Winter: "You literally heard me say it."
Aster (On Communication: "I know but...I didn't think you would call me. I thought you were on a secret mission to save our kingdom.")
Winter: "I am, I'm only calling you because I need to tell you about a new law I'm making. And I want you to tell the officials at the High Capital and the Supreme Council of it. They'll do the rest."
Aster (On Communication: "Understood, Princess. What's this new law about?")
Winter: "From this point on, wherever I go, any and all bodyguards are allowed to watch over and protect me. Unless I say so."
Aster (On Communication: "Alright, I'll be sure to let them know this new law. Good thing you called because I just remembered to tell you something.")
Winter: "Make it quick."
Aster (On Communication: "You know those orange armored soldiers that attack Snow Valley? One of them survived, and I had to get my hands dirty to get some answers out of him. Apparently those guys are a private army organized by the Embrian Government to do the dirty work for any individual who is an Elite. They are known as Militarized Lightning Rangers.")
Winter: [ Inner Monologuing: "So...Embria sent a private army to help Scorch attack Snow Valley, and none of them are Furians. I thought they were at first, Given their orange armor color. It must've been a trick to make us Cryterians think that those guys were from Furia. And these guys are organized to do dirty work for an individual who is an Elite. I'm not sure why they allow a disgusting pig like him be an Elite, That doesn't sit right with me. Embria clearly have their own reason for helping him and Furia out. I need to know why..." ]
Aster (On Communication: "Princess? You still there?")
Winter: "You've done well, Aster. Eliminate the Soldier. He's not worth sending to Dungeon Island."
Aster (On Communication: "I'll get right on it immediately. Winter, Good luck out there.")
Winter: "Thanks."
The call ends on the band. Black Ice turned off his band and look over at Winter to see what she was gonna say. What she had to say about this was, "...Embria wouldn't just allow Furia to build a portal chamber there. Nor would they just let a private army help someone like Scorch. Not without reason. This whole thing is bigger than I expect, and I'm gonna find answers..."
Derek lets Winter know that he finished putting the code in. He also attaches it back on her wrist.
Black Ice: "Well why do you think they let them build the portal chamber there?"
Winter: "I haven't put any thought into it. Until now...AI, create a portal to Furian Military Base!"
Princess Band [Voice AI]: "Command Received. Creating Portal to Furian Military Base."
Winter: [ Inner Monologuing: "One way or another, I will get answers." ]
