Lucifer's POV

Mara and I sat inside my tint as Clay threw more wood on the fire. Mara sat on my lap and began knotting and twisting my hair, starting at the top of my scalp and than down.

"Are you going to tell me what happened to you while you were with the vampires?" I asked as i stared into her dark blue eyes that held the secrets of why she was so afraid. She looked down at me and graced my face with passion as she stared into my eyes.

"I don't wish to talk about the vampires right now Lucifer" she said with a whisper.

She laid down on the cot that i had made and stretched her arms out to her comfort. She glanced up at me with love. "I don't want to be recognized Lucifer, i want a change, I want the beautiful markings like yours" she whispered as she traced my viking tattoos that lay on my face.

"I don't want to hurt you dear, my markings are a symbol of my suffering" I reminded her as she smiled and felt her own face. "Give me a mark that describes me" She begged.

I stared down at her beautiful face.

"Viking tattoos occur on the face my darling, are you sure this is what you want?" I asked her as i laid out my rock and Ink along with the arrow head that I use to embed the ink.

She nodded her head with joy and lifted her chin as if she already knew where I would be marking.

To me she symbolized great beauty and innocence and I wanted to let her know how beautiful she really was.

I sat on her lap and she glanced up at me with lust and innocence as i used the ink to only draw out the mark on her chin before I used my arrow.

I drew it out on my wrist over my other tattoos to show her.

"How do you feel about the mark of innocence?" I asked her as i sat on her lap over looking her.

She smiled a warm smile before nodding her head and a gleam of light from her eyes just about made my heart skip a beat.

I leaned down to her face and placed a kiss upon her lips. They tasted like the midnight sea. Her kisses have always made me see the visions of the moon.

I placed the arrow upon the soft skin of her chin and began to carefully beat the top of the arrow with the rock. She didn't even flinch and I was surprised. The tattoo took a total of 2 hours but it turned out so beautiful.

Now that I look at the art that was now within the skin of the girl that i love with all my heart, I know that it wasn't a bad idea. She still looked just as beautiful and it defined her beauty even more.

I laid down next to the small girl as she wrapped her arms around me with love.

Her collar rubbed against my skin and I felt guilty once again for not being able to remove it for her. I traced the collar with my fingers.

"I will get this removed, I promise" I whispered to her.

Zero's POV

The camp was dark but Clay started the fire again and the rest of them sat around the fire while I made myself a smaller fort away from them towards the darker part of the Forrest where the trees entered a part that looked like an eye ball from the way the branches lay.

I laid within the darkness of the fort and looked up into the bliss of silence.

I had just closed my eyes when I could see the door of my fort open just a crack.

"Violet?" I asked in a low whisper as she entered the fort.

"Who else would it be, are you already expecting company" she asked
