Chapter 80

Mara's POV

I was dragged to the throne room and thrown at the feet of the vampire king.

He patted his lap but I refused to move or even meet his gaze.

He sighed an annoyed sigh.

"I SAID GET UP!" He yelled as i felt his eyes on me.

I got up and sat on his lap to avoid any further beatings. I wished that Lucifer was here to protect me. But he wasn't.

The king held me in place and pet my head where my hair used to be.

3 tall vampires walked in the room and bowed in his presence.

"King, your son was spotted in the forest lands with the wild vampires" Said one as he stepped to the side with respect after he was done speaking.

The king who held me tapped his fingers against my head as I stared into space.

"Very well, Get the chains for the human and restrain her, we are going to the forest lands" He said as he glanced down at me.

2 more vampires entered the room with heavy chains and placed them around my ankles and wrists so tight that the metal rubbed against my bones.

The king looked down at me and grabbed my bruised face to look up at him.

"If you make any attempt to escape during our trip to see your pathetic pussy of a boyfriend, I will fucking snap your neck right in front of him. Do i make myself clear darling?" He asked as i only stared up at him with fear.

He grabbed what little bit of hair started to grow back upon my head, tilting my head back.

"I SAID, DO I MAKE MYSELF CLEAR!"

I nodded my head and spoke in a whine.

"Yes"

"That's a good girl, I see we are now on the same page. Lets go"

He grabbed my chains and we walked out the doors of the giant castle that I have been locked in for weeks.

My bare feet hit the ground and it felt amazing to feel the earth again.

I walked quickly next to him as we made our way through the enslaved town of humans.

A big carriage sat in the middle of town waiting for us.

He sat down in the back and yanked at my chains.

Not wanting to be hit again, I did exactly what he was wanting me to do but my heart raced the further we got into the forests.

Vampires now walked all around us and stared at us as we slowly passed through. Many different vampires who held human pets bowed in his honer and pointed in the same directions.

I wondered to myself if they were showing him the way to his son. Even tho I knew they were, I hoped that Lucifer would be there to rescue me.

Once I see his face, I will have at least a little hope of surviving the vampire who held me in chains at his side.

We stopped in front of an old abandon looking castle that had moss growing up the sides of the bricks and weeds peeking out between the brick path leading to a stair case with a door at the top.

Spider webs covered the gates that were clearly not locked and lights were seen from the inside.

The king chuckled an evil chuckle and pointed to the gates where a larger vampire stepped out of the carriage and opened the gate, stepping to the side with patience.
