Zero's POV

I stopped him before he ran after her. "Dude don't hurt her" i said worryingly.

"I'm not going to hurt her, that's the last thing I want to do, I'm protecting her" He said as He sped through the Forrest after her.

I wasn't exactly sure what we going on, but I hoped and trusted him that he wasn't going to hurt her.

I know how I've seen vampires act in the past and most of them aren't gentle when feeding. They were gone a long time and the moon only rose higher in the sky.

I've always loved the blood moon. It brought back so many memories of my mother and I. We used to always make moon water and on the blood moon we would secretly celebrate with music and she would make my favorite dinner.

Those memories make me miss my mother with all my heart and I wished that she was here to celebrate this one with me.

Lucifer laid next to the fire and gazed at the moons crimson beauty. A smile rested on his face as he stared.

The ratio sat next to him and he turned the dile trying to get the best connection he could. His flipped through static after static before finally reaching a station that played metal music.

That kind of music normally only played on a certain station and that station was popular among younger kids and young adults.

Once the words were clear enough to understand Lucifer placed his arms behind his head and closed his eyes with a smile.

This was his way of celebrating but everybody else only wanted to sing and dance.

I was sad as everybody else got out of their tints and danced with each other.

Mara shyly walked over to Lucifer and Lucifer patted his lap with a smile.

She sat on his lap and looked down at the smiling long haired man.

They were such a beautiful couple and I missed that about me and Violet.

Just than Violet walked up to me and sat down next to me.

She gazed up at the moon and smiled as she looked back up at me.

"I don't know which view is better, the moon or your eyes"

I glanced down at her with an expressionless look before glancing up at the moon myself.

"The moon is far better than my eyes" I said trying not to entertain whatever it was she was trying right now.

She sighed a breath of sadness and only looked at the ground.

"I miss you Zero" she said as she kicked the dirt with her bare feet.

I didn't respond and only gazed at the moon.

I was sick of explaining my feelings to her. I was sick of telling her no. And most of all I was sick of the memories we shared.

We sat next to each other in silence for a long time and my silence was probably chilling her to her bones. And I knew it because she eventually got up off the log and slowly walked over to the group of girls that sat over on the other side.

At least she's not like me, she has other people to talk to, more than what I have. She has every girl in this camp. While I have Clay and Lucifer.

I don't expect Caleb and his 2 friends to stay long. They seem to have other issues to take care of else where. And I didn't mind if they left, hell, they should leave. It's not safe here in the Forrest, not for them.
