"Thank you Mr. Alphonso!" Ava said smiling.
Ava pranced out then saw an dwarf woman behind manhandled by some guy. Ava jumped into action and aimed her black sword at the man's throat. "Back the fuck off," she growled.
"What's a puny woman going to do?" He chuckled.
Ava seemed to be on idle. The back of her foot connected with his face as she smirked. He was on the ground from the impact. The dwarf woman was hiding behind her, shaking in fear. The man attacked with his sword but Ava expertly blocked with her own.
"Heh. You're good for a woman," the man chuckled.
Ava swung her sword, the duel drawing attention. Kai gazed out the window and saw what was happening. He ran out and grabbed the dwarf woman and pulled her away. His eyes widened in amazement as he watched Ava battle the knight. The knight wore armor embroidered with the emblem of the evil queen. Kai didn't know how Ava was fighting and seemingly winning against the dark knight. With a clash, the knights sword flew over the crowd, sticking in the dirt. Ava held an angered look, her sword tip pressing into the knights throat.
"Ava!" Kai called, snapping her out of her trance.
"Pathetic," Ava muttered to the knight, sheathing her sword and walking towards her friend.
The guy was handed a sword then Ava turned as he swung his sword down. Her hand was raised and a white magick protection circle appeared, making the sword bounce back and hit the guys helmet. Gasps filled the area.

"Did you know you could do that?" Kai asked from across the room.
"No," Ava muttered, cleaning her sword. "I think it has something to do with the prophecy. But I never fought with a sword before. I was on idle or something."
"Whatever it was got those knights to leave. But I doubt it'll be the last time we see them," he stated, gazing at the window. "We'll start our trek to the elf kingdom. Maybe we can find some elves there."

"We're here so I'd say we need to travel due east for two days?" Kai said, showing Ava where they were on the map. "We need sacred wood for your sword."
Ava nodded walking next to him. Kai had been more open about things after the incident with the guards. Elves were enslaved by the humans of this world because of their powers. The evil queen must have a lot of elves in her castle. Ava sighed then pulled her book out of her satchel.
"Hmm.... I wonder if there are dragons in the mountains by the forest of the elves," muttered Ava as she looked at her own map. "I do need a dragon scale. Which means I either steal one or get it the hard way. This book says dragons are blood thirsty and I'm not taking any chances."
"Dragons have been extinct for a long time. I doubt we'll find one," Kai said.
"I have a feeling we'll find one," The brunette smiled.
The ginger elf gave her a side glance bfore shrugging. He knew he needed to trust the human. She was going to be the one who saved them after all. Kai gazed forward then saw the trees that marked the edge of the Elf forest.
"Looks like we're here. It'll take another day of travel to get to the city," Kai grumbled.
