The Risen Queen

~Unknown POV~

   My fists balled up at my sides as I gazed out the large window of my castle. Anger bubbled up as I saw my assassin come up the hill with a solem look on his face. Quiet fuming, I awaited him on my thrown. He entered the large doors and my eyes burned into his skull.
  "Is she dead yet? I cannot have her take over my kingdom," I snapped at him.
  "No my queen. An elf took the arrow in the chest for the girl. They escaped into the forbidden elf forest," he explained.
  "How many of these elves were with her Fernidad?" I asked.
  "There were two, Queen Mira," the assassin kneeled and bowed his head.
  "Two hmm? Declare war on what's left of the elven kingdom. Send one of the slaves," I ordered.
  I heard a squeak and one of the knights pulled my ten year old daughter from behind my throne. Her name was Annabelle and she was a very troublesome girl.
  "What have I told you about the throne room Annabelle?" I scolded, taking her by the ear and taking her out of the room.
  "Not to be in there," she grumbled.
  I took her into her room then crossed my arms, gazing down at her. "Where is your damn father? He was supposed to watch you and keep you from causing trouble about my castle," I asked.
  "Papa went into town to meet with the general. There was something found at that house on the outskirts!" Annabelle said, determination filling her eyes. "A whole sewer system! Apparently, it was being used to smuggle elves!"
  "Oh really?" I said intrigued. "Your nosey behavior is useful for once my dear. Keep up on this and I might think about getting you a horse you like."
  "Thank you mom!" She exclaimed, wrapping her arms around my waist. "You're the best hehe!"
  "Let go and go to your tutor. Its time for your classes."

   Hey little readers! Long time no read. I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while! I'm leaving for my trade school in a couple of weeks, crossing my fingers its within the next 3weeks, and I was busy packing my stuff. I'll be posting 1-3 times a month at most. I also apologize for the short chapter but I introduced the evil queen and her not so evil daughter.
