You walk downstairs and see Peter and he looks over scared as he was shaking as Lucius and another death eater were interrogating him
"Peter? What are you doing here?" You say and Lucius looks over and quickly had to think of an excuse, not remembering you know Peter is working for death eaters. He doesn't remember he accidentally told you
"He came to see you and I don't like it," Lucius says and you nod and walk over and hug Peter
"Don't worry he's just an old friend Lucius." You say and Peter looked at you so happy you saved him from Lucius and Rodolphus
You just pretend to not know Peter is betraying James
And how hurt James was like he cried on your lap for about 40 minutes
"Peter it's so nice to see you again." You say and Peter nods
"Yeah, I wanted to see how you are doing? We haven't spoken in a few years." Peter says and you nod
"Yeah it's great to see you again, how are Sirius and Remus? I've talked to James a bit but I haven't heard from them." You say and Peter nods
"Good, James talks about you a lot still, he actually tried to get in a relationship with Lily Evans, but he ended up breaking up with her shortly because he said he still loves you. And can't love someone else because you're the only one for him." Peter says and you stopped what? You still love James as well but wow he still loves you?
Lucius glares and didn't look happy about what Peter said

Who only is with you for your family's money, because his wealth would be even greater by marrying you, and he gets a nice high paying job from your father if he marries you
There are so many benefits he gets and you get to be a mother, great not like you wanted to have a job as well, not like you want to be independent and earn your own money, especially if your with Lucius you need some kind of income so he doesn't have power over your financial stuff. But no stay at home mom is your future
You just talk to Peter and catch up with him, but you felt disgusted towards him knowing he's betraying his friends 'James if I could I'd run and kiss you right now, but I can't and I hate this so much, I just wanna be with you again but I can't and it kills me.'
