You were drinking your pregnancy potion; it's supposed to help you with your pregnancy go smoothly
Lucius was eager to have a baby with you as soon as possible and to ensure your health, he made you drink a fertility potion. Despite your parents' desire for you to wait until after the wedding, Lucius insisted that you start trying immediately after your engagement.
You smile at your baby bump as you eat breakfast; the little one is growing.
And today, you meet with the healer to see how they are doing.
Lucius doesn't go; he says men shouldn't be there. He should be waiting at home for the results.
And your parents and Lucius' parents also agree.
They'd all faint if they knew James was in the room with you and the healer when you were pregnant. James didn't care that people didn't think he should be there; he's not leaving you or his child alone for a second
You hated his clinginess but also loved it at the same time
"Do you want me to bring you to the healer?" Lucius asks; you look up at him. His face looked so soft and happy like he couldn't hurt a fly, but you knew the darkness that hides beneath that face.
"Oh, sure, if you want." You say, and Lucius nods
"I am meeting with your father, so I'll take you." He says, and you nod as you rub your baby bump and then stop and smile; he looks confused. "What is it?" He asks as you look back over
"The baby kicked again." You say, and Lucius gets up, walks over, and puts his hand on your baby bump, and right as he does, the baby kicked
Lucius was shocked as he felt that
"Wait, you said again? How long has this been happening?" He asks, and you smile as you rub the bump
"A few months." You say, and he looks at you, not happy.
"And you didn't tell me?" He says well, you didn't think he'd care about your child kicking, so you never thought of it essential to tell him
"I forgot, sorry, I've been busy." You say, and he nods, seeming to accept that answer.
"Well, don't forget again." He says, and you nod as you sit up, more obviously uncomfortable in the chair
So Lucius calls a house-elf to get you a pillow for your back
Which they immediately got for you
'I really can't wait for my check-up to see how my child is.'
