I finally get to my room after hearing Eda spout on about that rotten Emperor Belos for nearly an hour, and how I'm the one to finally take him down. I close the door gently behind me, and slide down it looking out the window at the night sky happily. I spot the dark gray owl plushie Eda had stolen me from some greasy carnival worker and smile. I stand up and grab it, looking into it's circular black eyes happily. Hunter's face flashes through my mind and I squeeze the stuffed animal tightly. I flop onto my bed and kick my feet in the air.

"Why do I feel like this?" I breathe out nearly silently. "I'm acting so stupid." I face palm with an embarrassed laugh.

I get up to turn the lights off, continuing to hold the owl plushie firmly. I lay back down and gaze out the window at the stars.

"Tomorrow..." I whisper to myself with a giddy laugh, and close my eyes to go to sleep.

I wake up early the next morning and can't fall back asleep. I'm too excited to see Hunter to think about anything but him and what the day holds. I decide to do something productive and pick an outfit for today. As I skim through my closet my stomach sinks, realizing I have no decently nice clothes. I shut my closet door with pursed lips and walk downstairs quickly. I scurry into the kitchen and see Eda having a cup of apple blood drowsily.

"Eda!" I slam my hands on the table. She looks up slowly, acknowledging me silently. "How do I look good for a boy that looks good all the time?" I start to panic realizing he could show up at any minute. She laughs quietly at my irrational thinking.

"Come on, kid." She stands up and walks upstairs lazily.

Eda skims through my closet calmly, taking sips of her apple blood occasionally. She throws different articles of clothing onto my bed every now and then. Once she reaches the end, she turns toward my bed. Wordlessly, she shuffles the pieces of clothing around. Finally, she hands me a pair of black jeans and a slightly oversized "Bad Girl Coven" t-shirt. I look at Eda slightly annoyed.

"I'm not wearing the Bad Girl Coven shirt." I state firmly.

"Would you rather wear the 'Baby's First Covention' one?" She smirks. "You don't have much to work with here, kid."

"Fine!" I groan and push Eda out. I change and tuck the shirt in. I put a belt and pocket chain on to try and divert attention from the embarrassing t-shirt. I throw on some bracelets and a pair of earrings as well. Anything that may draw attention away from my shirt. After the fifth bracelet I give up. I look in my mirror and smile. I decide just a touch of makeup is fitting for the occasion. I apply a single layer of mascara carefully and sigh. I slip on a pair of old combat boots and walk downstairs. I turn the corner into the kitchen and see Eda and Luz already sitting at the table talking. Luz sees me and smiles.

"Y/n! You look so cute!" She compliments walking my way. She grabs a plate from the counter and holds it out to me. "Scrambled eggs?" I shake my head.

"No, thanks." I wave my hands in front of me politely declining. I'm far too nervous to eat at the moment. Luz nods and puts the plate back down. King quickly gulps down my portion.

"So, where are you off to?" Luz asks, sitting back down at her seat at the table.

"Just...out." I reply vaguely.

"With a boy!" Eda butts in with a devious smirk. Luz snaps her head to me with a dramatic gasp.

"You're going on a date?!" Luz grabs my arms and shakes me.

"It's not a date!" I clarify defensively.

"It's totally a date!" Eda and Luz both yell in sync. My face burns from embarrassment and I walk back to my room quickly. Eda and Luz's laughter fades as I walk up the stairs.
