Going Back To Camp

*****'s POV

God. That player put up one hell of a fight. Great aim with the dagger too. It put one heck of a gash in my thigh. I sheathe my sword, look up at the sun , and see that it's late. I grab my helmet and put it back on
I look over at the player, even through their armor, I can tell they're bloodied and bruised. I can tell since they were limping away and looked in pain. They put up one heck of a fight for being hurt, I'd hate to be in a fight with them while they were well. I couldn't tell who they were since they had their helmet pulled over their eyes.
I should probably take them back with me to the camp...maybe they can tell me what happened here.
I would go ask the villagers, but by the time I get there, they'd all be locked up in their homes again. I limp over and grab the dagger and the sword, putting them in my inventory. I walk over and debate on taking off the players helmet or not. I decide on waiting until they wake up. I can see where the blood has soaked through their armor on their leg. I also notice an arrow in their back.
That must have hurt. And to still fight with that?
Dang.
I scoop up the player and swing them over my shoulder. I start walking away from the scene and towards my camp.

~

I arrive at camp and make a fire. I set the player down by one of the walls, propping them up against it.
I take off my helmet and set it by the tent. I rip a piece of material off my blanket and tie it around my leg. That blade went pretty deep. I sit over by the fire and wait for the player to wake up.

~*a few hours later*~

I had been looking at the stars, when I see movement in the corner of my eye. I look over at the player and they are sitting up, pointing their dagger towards me.

"Well, I see your awake," I said.
I looked at them holding the dagger.
"You've got pretty good aim with that thing. Put a huge gash in my leg," I say referring to the bloodied cloth tied around my leg.
The player got up.

"Tell me who you and and tell me where I am," they demand. I just smile. They step closer and put the dagger closer to me.

"Tell me. Who you are. And where I am," they say, putting a lot of emphasis oh each word as though they were stating it as a threat.

"I think I deserve an explanation as well," I say. I grab my sword and point it towards them.
They start moving backwards.
They move out of the boundary and, once again, fall backwards.
This time, they hit their injured leg, pretty hard, on a rock. They let out a cry of agony. I almost laugh. He screams like a girl. I walk over to the player and stand beside them. They are hugging their leg to their chest.

"Look. I'll be happy to help you as long as you help me. You help me, I help you. You don't hurt me, I don't hurt you. Okay? We can be friends or enemies, you choose. I'm going back to my house if you want to come. Otherwise, you can stay here and get killed by mobs. But I won't allow that to happen. I need your help and you clearly need mine. So what do you say," I offer them my hand. They get up without my help.

"Thanks, but I don't need your pity party. I'll help you, but then I'm gone. Got it?" They say. I nod and we both start walking towards camp.

"You scream like a girl by the way," I laugh. They keep waking straight ahead, not even looking at me.

"Maybe it's because I am," they say.

Oh...

Her voice goes to a normal girls tone. Apparently she was disguising her voice. But she didn't know me so why would it matter? I don't know anymore.
We both sit down by the fire.
I want to know a few things about this player, something about her seems strange.
