Destiny's POV

I stared in the mirror. I was shocked.

My hair...

I slowly raised a shaky hand to my head.

My hair was no longer a golden caramel blonde.

It was...mint green. The ends were still a turquoise in some way but it had a green tint to it.

I started panicking. It looked kind of cool but at the time I wasn't thinking about that. I was panicking that my hair had turned green.

I quickly ran over and grabbed the bottle of my shampoo. Something was stuck to the bottom of it. It was a piece of paper. Something was written on it, it was wet, but the wording was still readable. It said,

Hi Destiny,

well it looks like you

got your surprise. I

hope you like it. Now

remember, don't mess

my life. Your welcome!

I instantly knew who did this. Brittany. She had done this. All because I talked to Josh. And he didn't even like me. I snapped back to reality and started drying my hair with a towel, and with shaky hands, I grabbed the note and walked out of the bathroom. I took a deep breath and walked into the room that Denise was in.

"Hey so for the party tomorrow-," she paused as she turned toward me. She was staring at my hair.

"What-" she asked. I sighed, walked over to her, and gave her the note. I watched as her eyes scanned the small slip of paper. She looked at me and stood up. She walked over to me and grabbed a piece of my hair. She examined it and then looked at me. She instantly gave me a hug.

"Who did this?" she asked. I pulled out of the hug and hesitated before answering.

"Brittany," I said. She looked like she was about to snap someone's neck.

"Why did Brittany do this?" she asked with anger in her eyes.

"Because I was the first one that talked to Josh, not her," I said. She looked at me with a slightly shocked expression.

"She did this to you because she didn't get the chance to talk to my boyfriend first?" she said with one eyebrow raised and her hand on her hip. I nodded.

"Yeah," I said.

We talked about my hair and about how it wasn't that bad. We also talked about the party the next day for a few more hours before it was finally time for us to go to bed. We climbed into our beds and went to sleep.

Tomorrow was going to be a big day.
