Dip Dye

Destiny's POV

After we got to the apartment that night, Denise helped me unpack my things and arrange them in our room. We took all of my things and found a place for almost all of them, like under the bed and shoved in the closet...okay maybe not there but we did find a place for everything.

After unpacking, we got ready and went to bed.

After a restless night, we had woken up to go to school. We got ready and ran out to the bus. We got on the bus and maneuvered to the back, where we saw Josh sitting. He greeted me with a hello and Denise with a kiss. I grunted.

"Ugh, I am such a loner," I said. Denise laughed.

"You'll find someone, right Josh?" she said. He wasn't really listening so she elbowed him.

"Oh, uh, yeah. You're nice and your eyes are pretty," he said. That kind of stung. The fact that he didn't know about my eyes was upsetting. I just nodded because I didn't want to talk.

We reached school and had our usual classes. It was finally lunch and we sat down and ate. About half way through lunch we started talking about getting our hair dyed tomorrow.

"Oh, yeah, I forgot about that," I said. I just remembered that the popular girls table was right behind us and I turned around.

Just as I thought.

Brittany was turned around and looking at us, seeming to be observing everything we were saying.

Well this cant end well. I thought.

I had this feeling in my gut that something was going to happen. And the fact that she was evilly grinning didn't help. I turned around and tried to ignore her.

After school, I went to volleyball practice like usual. After that, I rode my bike back to the apartment. As I walked my bike over to the spot where Denise's car was parked, Denise ran out of the apartment.

"Lets go get our hair done!" she yelled as she ran up and hugged me. I hugged her back and said,

"I am! I have to change first though! I can't go looking this fabulous!" sarcasm! She laughed and we went inside.

I quickly changed clothes and brushed my hair. After that, I walked into the living room where I saw Denise nearly jumping up and down. She grabbed my arm and pulled me out the door.

"Come on! Lets go get Rose!" she said excitedly. We jumped in the car after locking the apartment, and after a few minutes, arrived at my parent's house. Rose came running out. She got in the back seat and we all started talking about getting our hair dip dyed. Rose wanted red, Denise wanted purple, and I wanted turquoise.

We drove for about ten minutes before we finally reached the hair salon. We quickly and excitedly rushed inside and sat down. After we all got called in, we told our stylists what color and where they were dying our hair.

About half way through getting my hair dyed, I saw something I didn't want to see.

I looked up and I saw Brittany, watching me. This can't end well. I thought.

And It didn't.

I have lots more chapters typed up and I keep saying that a big parts coming up but I've been putting that off

I'm really sorry!

At the beginning I thought that I wouldn't have enough for the book but here I am apologizing because I'm already on chapter 23 and I don't even have the big part up yet
