Denise POV
As soon as I get off the bus I run inside, and I go to my room to change. I get on a purple T-shirt and my Minecraft Enderman hoodie that Destiny gave me for my 17th Birthday. I pull on a pair of skinny jeans and grab my laptop, putting it in my backpack. I run out to the kitchen and yell to my mom:
"Mom! I'm going over to Destiny's house. I'm riding my bike over there, so you don't need to drive."
"Good bye," she mumbled back.
So heart-felt.
I put my backpack back on since I had some homework, and I walked my bike out in the driveway. Before I hopped on, I checked my phone to see what time it was.
3:00
Darn it! I'm going to be late. I hopped on and started riding down the road toward Destiny's house.

After about five minutes of non-stop pedaling, I arrived at Destiny's house. I looked next door and saw what looked like new people were moving in.
I quickly knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer it.
I heard the sound of clicking and then someone opened the door.
"Hi Mrs. Luis," I said cheerfully. She smiled back in return.
"Oh, hello Denise. Come in. Destiny is in her room," her tone sounded a little angry when she said Destiny's name. I didn't really think much of it at the time.
"Ok, thanks!" I said. I raced to Destiny's room. I silently swung open the door. She didn't seem to notice so I stood in a strange pose and said loudly,
"The great queen has arrived!"
(POV Change) Destiny
"The great queen has arrived!" I turned around and stared at a funny looking Denise in the weirdest pose I have ever seen. I started cracking up. I was laughing so much that I fell off the bed and started rolling on the floor, holding my stomach because it hurt from laughing so much.
After a few minutes of laughing, I got off the floor and sat on the bed again.
"Ok, I'm good. Hi," I smiled.
"Hey, so I saw that some new people are moving in next door," she said, a curious tone in her voice.
"Oh, yeah. I haven't seen them, but my mom said that there was a family moving in with a son that looks our age," I said. She smiled and asked:
"Do you think that that could be Josh?" I shrugged.
"I don't know. I guess anything's possible."
"So, do you want to play some Minecraft? I brought my laptop," she asked, pulling her laptop out of her backpack. I started to feel a little dizzy, thinking about what happened this morning. She started staring at me with a concerned look on her face.
"Hey, are you ok? Your eyes are a little green. Doesn't that mean you're sick?" she asked.
"No, I'm fine. I was just thinking about what happened this morning. That was the reason I wanted you to come over," I said, swaying a little bit.
"Oh, yah, what happened this morning?" she asked. I got up from the bed, walked over to the door, and closed it.
"Ok, well it started with another dream that I had..."
-one story later
"Oh, my gosh. That's freaky. And the sign said the exact thing as the guy in your dream?" she questioned.
