The thought of lunchtime for once was making Clary feel nervous, this was because not only did Seok Jin bid her goodbye with the phrase, "See you at lunch," but also because they were now walking with Hoseok in the direction of the cafeteria.
The female knew she ought to calm down her nervousness after all, the safest place would be the school where nothing dangerous was likely to happen due to the large number of students who could witness any acts of sudden danger.
Clary knew she had to play the situation on the down-low, maybe being friends with the boys would offer herself and Katie protection. Korea was unfortunately known for its gangs and underground crime issues and with the females attending a rich private grammar school let's just say the place was swarming with heirs to companies with underlying priorities anonymous to the public eye.
The public and emergency services were all aware of festering criminal groups disguised underneath the most richest of businesses therefore the school was rifling with intelligent, deceiving soon to be CEO's of companies built on the backbone of hidden crimes.
Clary had ensured that the group almost raced to the cafeteria in order to get there before the line became too long, the female bought lunch for herself and Katie as payback for her morning coffee. The brunette lifted a blue tray of food in each hand and looked over to the large table where Katie sat beside Taehyung immersed within his brown eyes.
The blue eyed girl scoffed when she noticed the only available seat was of course the one beside Kim Namjoon - she wondered if the group had done this on purpose or if it was a sheer coincidence. The aura of that man and the way the rest of the boys seemed to follow him like puppies almost screamed powerful. It was slightly intimidating - but he could never become aware of that.
The brunette padded over to the seat next to the brown haired male who was eating lunch and engaging in conversation rather than reading a book like he had been doing during break time.
When Clary took her seat the male greeted her with a warm smile. "How was Spanish?" His smile was bittersweet, his intentions? Unknown.
Clary raised an eyebrow wondering if he had heard of their sudden new classmate but decided not to show concern to be on the safe side. She feigned a smile almost as warm as his, "it was actually really refreshing. My favourite subject!" She exclaimed with enthusiasm, she wondered what was going through his head.
Before the brunette haired male could respond Park Jimin interrupted with a sweet yet shy smile, "Yah- Hyung, now that Hoseok is taking advanced Spanish doesn't that mean at least one of us are in each of Clary and Katie's classes," his smile had appeared innocent but his statement was malicious.
Clary observed that Jin had given him a slightly harsh nudge and she couldn't decipher if it was a scolding because he was being slightly inappropriate, or if the information he had spilled was perhaps supposed to be a secret. Clary was unsure.
Park Jimin rubbed his shoulder and glared at the eldest. "I wish I had the pleasure of being in all of her classes," Namjoon stated at the female intensely with the sweetest smile.
Clary stared into his brown captivating eyes and she knew she was in danger of falling completely into them, the softness of his look exposed a weaker, nurturing side to him and part of her was obsessed with it.
"So what do you guys wanna do after school?" Taehyung exclaimed, addressing the whole group.
"Sleep!" Katie groaned, the first day back had knocked most of the energy from her.
"What about food then paintball?" Hoseok suggested, his face beaming as the other boys nodded in agreement at his suggestion.
Clary mentally groaned, the boys looked like the kind of group to soak up physical activities and the lazy side of her disapproved but the curiosity behind Kim Namjoon was too intriguing to pass up such an opportunity but she needed to be certain that they were being formally invited.
