In the blink of an eye, before anyone else could process what Jimin said, Clary made a run for the door. The group of boys followed at her back in a scramble, in the order of Taehyung, Jin, Namjoon, followed lastly by Jimin.
Clary's socks slid a little on the floorboards as she dashed down the hallway - she held her hands out to the side to regain her balance and prevent her falling. She could practically feel Taehyung's hot breath upon the back of her neck yet despite how much he tried he failed to get in front of her. Clary was insanely fast.
She made a break for the stair case thinking intuitively that Katie most likely descended to a lower floor rather than running upstairs with less places to turn. She made the decision to sprint downstairs without hesitation - holding onto the bannister as she went to prevent slipping. "Katie?" She yelled out, not caring if she arose the rest of the house with the noise.
Instead of silence Clary was met by an angry Yoongi who emerged from the hallway of his floor. "What the fu-" He scratched his sleepy head, his sentence cut off and question answered by the stream of boys chasing Clary on the stairs.
Yoongi shrugged his shoulders, turned on his heel and returned back to his bed.
Clary kept up her sprint, ignoring her heavy breathing and continued downstairs. She did not know when Hoseok joined the rampage - she only realised when she hit the ground floor that he had joined the chase.
Clary tried to wrack her brain, stopping at the landing of the ground floor. Where would Katie have run off to? She raised her eyebrows. Where would she run off too if the shoe was on the other foot? Shit.
Clary made a break for the gym knowing that Namjoon probably already had an indication as to why she was heading in that direction. She gasped out in a breathy wheeze upon seeing the door to the gym lying open - at this moment she was a good few paces ahead.
Clary made her way through the gym, the automatic lights turning on with her presence. She darted passed all of the machines and equipment until she seen the slight ajar door to the weapons room. "Katie." She mumbled out in a sort of breathy whisper.
She pushed the door open further and stepped into the room. "Oh, Katie." She trembled.
Katie stood, cowered in the corner of the room, holding a gun. The blonde was considerably littered in bruises and cuts, her face black and blue in areas.
The boys burst into the room behind Clary to which Katie held the gun up in a shaky form. "Don't come any closer." She quivered.
Clary put her hands up to show security and edged a step closer toward her friend. The boys, however, whipped out weapons of their own and pointed them toward Katie,
"Don't." Katie said once more in a shaky voice.
"Katie drop the damn weapon, don't think we won't shoot." Taehyung hissed. Katie's lips parted slightly at his words, a stray tear rolling down her cheek.
"Everyone just stand down for fucks sake." Clary gestured to them all but nobody listened.
Upon quickly realising the guys refusal to stand down Clary turned to the closest person at her side which was Taehyung. She elbowed him sharply in the groin and slapped the gun out of his hand, it clanked loudly on the floor.
Taehyung went to grab Clary's wounded head but she was too fast and ducked quickly. She punched Taehyung using all of her bodily strength like Jimin had taught her. The impact winded Taehyung and he stumbled back mainly in shock.
"Everyone just please!" Katie shrieked causing the commotion to disperse.
Clary looked at her friend in sheer horror as she watched Katie point the loaded gun to her own head, eyes brimming now with even more tears.
