Clary did not know whether to be skeptical about the fact the boys insisted to pick herself and Katie up from their flat. She had been quick to offer that they should meet outside BTS' infamous house - it was known that all the boys lived together but the whereabouts had always been a secret. Her offer had been shut down quickly and politely. Katie noted that it was very gentleman like of them to pick them up from their flat - and by 'noted' she wouldn't stop going on about it.
Clary wasn't entirely keen of them knowing the location of their home but there had not been a polite way to decline their offer of picking them up. She knew that it would look suspicious so she had no choice but to accept the offer.
She sighed at her reflection in the mirror, she had decided to keep her hair down because it accentuated her features. She wore black sports shorts alongside a pink sports bra and a light zipper, after all it was paint-balling they had been invited to so she ought to be prepared to get her sports face on. Once she was finished getting ready she approached Katie's room. "Are you excited?" Clary asked. She leaned against the door frame of Katie's en suite.
Katie who appeared to be fixing her makeup looked opposite. "Nervous." She corrected. She was wearing black sports leggings with a blue vest top. Clary had always thought that leggings made her friend appear a lot taller than she was, she wondered if there was a motive behind that especially seen as Taehyung was considerably taller than Katie.
A loud pinging noise filled up the short silence that was growing in the room as Clary watched Katie finish touching up her mascara. Light makeup was the go to of course because anything heavy would be sweated off in the field of paintball and appear more messy than anything. "Whose that?" Katie furrowed her eyebrow. Clary rarely got many texts that were not from Katie. She looked down at her iphone.
Maybe Namjoon: We are waiting outside
Clary read the short message out loud. The reason Namjoon had somehow gotten Clary's number wasn't what made her nervous, she gasped "Uh Katie?"
Simultaneously both girls said: "Did you tell them our address?" The question was uttered in almost perfect synchronisation.
Clary was overcome with such worry that it was growing into anxiety. "If you didn't give them our address and nor did I... then how the fuck are they outside?"
Katie began to panic a little at the thought. "I'm a bit scared Clary!" She turned around to face her friend, breathing heavily.
Clary tried not to seem stressed for if she was stressed then Katie would be an anxious mess seen as Clary was considerably the least anxious of the two. "I'm sure they just got it off Snapchat or something." She patted Katie on the shoulder. "Grab your bag and let's go."
Clary picked up her shoulder bag and handed Katie over her purse. Katie exited the flat first into the lobby leaving Clary to lock the door and put the key in her bag. "It'll be fine Katie just take deep breaths and if you're uncomfortable we can go home, it'll just be crush nerves!" The brunette tried to encourage Katie hoping that she could console her before anymore worrying thoughts spiralled.
They walked down the stair case without passing much conversation. Both friends seemed to be focusing on what they were going to say or where to sit. When they exited the apartment close Clary's stomach churned at the sight, two cars, oh no.
Two cars were situated outside their apartment complex, she wasn't silly enough to have any doubt that one of the cars could potentially just be a stranger. Both cars were black, one was a black Audi, the other a black BMW. The vehicles were undoubtedly belonging to BTS because both had black tinted windows and black wheels. "Don't panic." Clary automatically said to Katie. "The polite thing to do is go into whichever car they ask of us."
