Upon arriving at the paintball centre Namjoon decided that the group would play three games. Unknowingly to Clary these three games would allow himself and the group to determine the skills of herself and Katie in order to see if they possessed any threat that was to a degree worthwhile of attention.

The group suited up with their paintball suits including hard black vests and black large paintball guns. Clary was handed a paint ball gun, it possessed some similarities to what a real gun looked like. She took a deep breath and she grasped into it with both of her hands. It's just a paint ball gun. She told herself. Clary had a lot of buried memories when it game to the weapon.

Clary had never held a gun of any sort before, she had seen a gun at a very young age and despite this it felt like yesterday. She bit down the memories of her mother and sister. Clary's stomach churned.  They just sold weed and did not actually use guns from what she was aware of therefore she could be cautious whilst not making assumptions. She hoped her feeling about them was off. "Have you ever held a gun before?" Katie asked to Taehyung, "It feels so alien."

Taehyung completely brushed off the question, "Yeah we have played paint ball a few times." Clary instantly noticed he did not answer the question properly and it made her anxious.

Once the group was ready Namjoon cleared his throat. "Okay for the first round in Team one we will have myself, Clary, Jimin, Hoseok, and Jin. In team two we will have Katie, Taehyung, Jungkook, and Yoongi."

Namjoon expected Clary and Katie to protest against this but was surprised to hear opposite. "Oh you're so going down!" Clary grasped her gun and pointed it to Katie.

"You wish!" Katie exclaimed. "We will beat your ass!"

Jungkook giggled, "I wouldn't count on it Katie."

"Is everybody ready?" Jin asked, everyone nodded. "Okay well we will split up into the field."

The paint balling field was outside and both teams had a separate starting point which was so far away from eachother that from each starting point the other team was not visible.

"You sure you can keep up Edwards?" Namjoon stuck out his tongue as the group jogged towards their allocated starting point.

Clary jogged next to him showing her ability to keep up with his pace on the outset. "I'm ready to beat some ass so you bet I can keep up Kim."

They arrived at the starting point in the field which was covered by some large trees and bushes. The entire field was filled with obstacles such as big inflatable walls, bushes to hide in, red targets to practice with, mini half brick walls to hide or jump over. Clary was getting excited.

The whistle was blown by an employee insinuating that both teams were at their starting point and that the first round had begun.

The group began to run across the field, spotting the other four figures who were also running toward them. There was a large black line in which the team mates were not allowed to cross over to the opposite side, being too close to the opponent was considered cheating and made the impact of the paint painful.

Clary went for Katie instantly, she ducked behind part of the brick wall and shot four shots of paint. She sighed in relief upon hearing that the release of a bullet made a quiet sound and did not sound like a real gun. She always flinched watching films when there was gunfire therefore she was scared how she would react if she ever were to experience real gunfire again. Clary shuddered, she wished she had brought music with her to drown out the past.

She snapped back to reality and the fourth shot splattered against Katie's black vest causing her to fall with the blast impact, covering her in a mix of yellow and pink paint. "Fuck!" Katie groaned.
