IMAGINE BEING AN AFRICAN-AMERICAN CHEF AND INTRODUCING COLETTE AND LINGUINI TO SOUL FOOD.
"Have you ever tasted soul food?" you inquired as you put up your plates of corn pudding, chicken macaroni and cheese, fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits.
Linguini and Colette glanced at each other before looking back at the plates.
"No, but it looks good." Linguini admitted and Remy leaned forward on Linguini's shoulder to look at the food too.
"Well, we could stare at it or you could taste it." you smiled and watched as Linguini and Colette took forks and put some of the corn pudding into their mouths.
Suddenly, Colette slapped her hand onto her mouth and let out a muffled "it's so good!"
"Thank you, I take it that I succeeded in this then?"
"Yes, you most certainly did!" Linguini smiled as he took another bite from the fried chicken. "It's settled, you'll be doing this for my birthday."
