IMAGINE BEING AURORA'S AUTISTIC BEST FRIEND AND HER ASKING YOU TO BE HER BRIDESMAID.

Being autistic in the Kingdom had been hard in your childhood - no one particularly understood it and other children in the village thought you were weird. King Stefan had been a cruel ruler, he wasn't there when his wife had passed and he had sent his daughter away instead of protecting her himself. People were poor, and as you were different from the other children, people said you were cursed too. Autism wasn't known in the Kingdom and people feared you because you were different.

But after King Stefan had died and Aurora became the Queen of the Kingdom and also the Queen of the Moors, your lives became better. Now you had food and you felt like Queen Aurora cared for her people, which she did. And when she got to know you, you felt like you hadn't had such a connection to anyone ever before. You felt like someone cared, someone treated you as an equal - and it didn't take long before you had befriended Aurora. She was your only and best friend, and Aurora had never had anyone of her age as her friend either so your relationship grew out to be a very special one. And as she had found love from Philip, she still didn't spend time with you any less than before. And one day, she approached you with a big smile on her face.

"Y/N, I have some news." she began, and you turned to her with a smile on your face. "Philip asked me to marry him."

Your smile just grew bigger, as you excitedly hugged your friend. "Oh my god, congratulations! You're going to be an amazing couple!" Aurora nodded at you, and held your hands in her own, running her thumbs over your knuckles.

"I have another thing to say to you... or actually, it's a question." she bit her lip, and you furrowed your eyebrows, not knowing what Aurora would ask you. She gave your hands a little squeeze. "Would you like to be my bridesmaid?"

Your eyes widened in shock. Aurora was your best friend and the first person who you could call a friend, but you still didn't expect her to offer you such honor, such an important task. It showed how much Aurora cared for you - and you gave Aurora another, a lot tighter hug, murmuring, "I would be honored to be your bridesmaid."
