HC'S: DATING IAN LIGHTFOOT

- You have known him since you were kids, because your parents were friends with his mom.

- You had befriended quickly as toddlers.

- That friendship turned into mutual crushes as teenagers.

- Everyone could see it, especially with Ian.

- He starts to be a stuttering mess around you.

- He doesn't even realize it at first, but Barley picks up the signs.

- He teases Ian for a while about it, until he realizes that you have started to blush a lot more around Ian too...

- So Barley takes a protective role about it.

- It's sometimes annoying how he tries to make "romantic surprises" for you, especially when neither of you doesn't know that your feelings are mutual.

- One day you're tired and annoyed anyway because a test went badly and then Barley has - again - set you two up.

- You end up ranting to him.

"Barley, I really can't do this anymore. I know you try to help but... it's embarrassing.""Y/N-" *Barley motions to the door*"No, I'm not leaving. I know you know that I like Ian a lot, but I'd like it to go with its own weight.""Y-you like me?" -Ian

- You catch Barley, Ian and their father's legs when they're leaving to seek another Phoenix gem to finalize the spell, and insist to come with them.

- And that journey made you realize that you want to marry Ian one day - he was the one for you.
