Once every three weeks, Beidou returns from Liyue to Inazuma, bringing many resources with her for merchants who sell it through their own little business. They pay her for taking their requests  and/or buy products off her, and when they get their goods, they sell it to the locals and clans. Aboard the Alcor, she also has a team of crewmates who assist her every trip back and forth. One of them is an ex-Kamisato clan member. She used to serve Kamisato Ayato as his personal assistant.

They met when Ayato went on a walk outside of the estate. He heard rumbling and crackling of thunder, but the sky was clear. Being the noisy person he is, he decided to seek out the source of the noise and soon found a blonde girl fighting a Thundering Lawachurl. He wanted to step in and save her, but his gut told him to stay put. Eventually the Lawachurl was defeated even if the odds weren't in her favor and shortly after, she collapsed out of exhaustion. The head of the Kamisato Clan didn't think twice and picked her up to take her to the estate and get her patched up.

Some time afterwards she became Ayato's assistant and was running errands for the said man. However, the housekeeper and Kamisato Ayaka's bodyguard had developed a crush on her. He was the one who took care of her when Ayato brought her in. He started bonding with her as soon as she woke up, asking where she was. From the moment, the two became close friends up until Ayato promoted her as his personal assistant.

Why did she leave?

No one really knows, not even Ayato. One day she asked if she could talk to him, and the next day, she announced that by the end of the month she will stop working for the Kamisato clan and switch over to Beidou's fleet.

That was until Ayato received a warning letter from her. It had already been a week since she was gone, but she warned them about the Vision Hunt Decree. They didn't understand how she got ahold of that information, but the next day, they got offered to sign an agreement about the said hunt.

But peace has finally returned to Inazuma, everyone can finally come and go as they please and vision holders can walk around in public safely again. Though it's still unfortunate for those who lost theirs, they got the help and care they need from the resistance and are invited to sign up for military training on Watatsumi Island.

'It was nice doing business with you, Thoma. I hope the Kamisato clan will be satisfied with the goods.'

'I'm sure they will, Liyue is famous for it's silk fabrics and Lady Ayaka absolutely loves it for her kimonos. Thanks again for delivering us such high quality goods!' Thoma's green eyes have shifted towards the front of the ship, where he sees two people sitting on the railing. A boy with white hair and a red and white samurai attire, next to him sits a blonde girl with a similar outfit but her top is a short sleeved kimono with open shoulders and she is wearing boots like Beidou's. They look like polar opposites. Warm and cold. Just like how she and him used to be.

'Whaddaya starin' at?' Beidou asks and follows his gaze before smirking.

'I heard you two were once colleagues. But judging by the look on your face, you feel more than that.'

'W-wha- no, you misunderstand-'

'Don't lie to me, I know that look on your face, it's the same for everyone. Go talk to her, I'm sure she'd be happy to see you!'

She pushes him towards the ship and he basically has no choice but to do so. He is a great fighter, but Beidou is another level compared to him. She wouldn't even have to use her vision to completely floor him.

'Why is it that whenever you talk,, it sounds like you are reading a poem to someone...?'

'Does it really? I know Captain Beidou has said it before, but I always assumed it was just her misunderstanding my metaphors...'
