"Good afternoon, we're friends of Ayaka's and here to see Kamisato Ayato. Is he home if we may ask?" A high pitched voice disturbs Bella from the paperwork she is doing outside on the terrace and she looks up to see a blond boy with a flying pixy looking thing.

"Good afternoon. So you're the traveler Ayaka has been telling me about? I'm glad you have been so kind to her."

"Yup, yup, Ayaka is our friend and has helped us a lot during our time here."

"Can I ask who you are?" The blond boy questions and Bella smiles gently.

"I'm...simply someone who helps lord Kamisato with his work. Ever since the decrees got ceased, our workload increased tremendously. I'm just here to help out wherever I can..."

"Oh I see, you're like a secretary? Paimon's name is Paimon and this is Aether. It is nice to meet you uh..."

"Bella. Mystic Bella. It's a pleasure meeting you two. I will ask one of the guards to escort you. I believe Thoma had already gone to lord Kamisato's study to bring him some refreshments."

"Okay, thank you Bella! We'll see you around."

Once the two are out of sight, one of the workers carefully approaches the table, while Bella calmly continues her work.

"My lady, if I may be so bold to ask, why didn't you introduce yourself as miss Kamisato?"

"I might be married to him. But we both know he never wanted this. It was because he wanted to honor his late parents' wishes, nothing more. I might be a Kamisato on paper, but I will never be close enough to be considered family. So all I can do is ease the weight on his shoulders and not get in his way. I may love him, but it is clear that he doesn't feel the same way."

Inside the estate, Aether and Paimon have finally met the famous Yashiro Commissioner, Kamisato Ayato. After walking in on him and Thoma playing a game of chess, they quickly got acquainted and so the two are on a mission to get to know the head of the Kamisato Clan.

"I apologize for not being able to welcome you guys and escort you. My lord wanted to play one of his many games of chess and well...it's practically impossible to refuse." Thoma apologizes and Paimon shakes her head.

"No worries, the lady who was working outside was kind enough to tell us where we could find you two!"

"Ah you mean granny?"

"What? No! She was way too young to be a granny!"

"The shrine maiden?"

"Not her either! Argh, Paimon forgot her name again!" The pixy stomps in the air in frustration as her peas for brains try to work as hard as they can, when Aether quickly remembers.

"Bella, was her name."

"Ah right! Bella was her name! She was so kind to us, just by looking at her smile, Paimon felt all warm and fuzzy inside." Ayato lets out a sign as Thoma awkwardly scratches the back of his neck, confusing the two.

"What? What's wrong? Isn't she your secretary or something? At least that's what she told us."

Ayato chuckles, shaking his head as he goes to correct them.

"She is not my secretary. She does part of my work but, she is, in fact, my wife. We're married."

"SHE IS WHAT?!" Paimon exclaims in disbelief and Aether is just as shocked.

"She's my wife. Didn't she tell you?"

"No! She just said her name was Bella and that she helps out a lot at the estate."
