As the title implies, this chapter will contain violence and murder. Viewer discretion is advised.

Danny was on TV. Time was ticking. I needed to do what I had to do fast, so the body would be found as he's still being interviewed. His interview had only just started and I had around an hour to complete my task.

I zipped up a pair of black combat boots, ones I had dug out from my old shoe boxes. It was complete. The ghostface mask looked up at me through empty mesh eyes on my lap and so I looked back. I grabbed it and tightened the straps around the back of my head, the cool plastic refreshing my face. I then pulled my hood up and was in full suit. Danny had taught me a quick trick to not damage his fancy camera while killing, it was strapped around my waist with a cover over it, next to my knife sheath. I stood, looking into the mirror.

Liking the look, I smiled, but couldn't see it of course because of the mask.

Now was time.

I walked downstairs and on the TV I had left on, I saw that the interview was on the news. It was reasonable since the murders in Mentetwin had everyone going wild, even outside of Pennsylvania itself. I looked at Danny's face as I did when he was in front of me and almost forgot who 'Jed' was. "I hope you like this." I exhaled, remembering to turn on the voice changer before doing the opposite to the TV. Outside I go. Luckily, my neighbourhood was quiet. Yes, it was quite a wealthy part of town but the men on the block were out working and their wives were busy having affairs with their husband's coworkers or getting wine headaches. Sweet, I know. I'd blow my own brains out before living like that.

I didn't have to go too far because the guy I was going to target lived a few streets down. People never went out much since the murders which is really stupid since Danny kills people in their own homes... douchebags. I assume everyone who was inside was fascinated with the interview, because I would be too if I didn't know everything already. I would be having second thoughts about what I was about to do but god, would this feel good.

I approached his street and snuck around the backyard area of his row. Three houses along and I was there. I did a mini sound check, quietly to make sure my voice changer was working and went through the old numbers I had from my highschool groupchat. Now I have to pray that he hadn't changed his number. Entering the number into the small Nokia Danny gave me, he said to dispose of it so the police couldn't trace anything. I called him off of the private number option and let it ring.

Calling...

Ringing...

"Hello?"

It was him.

"Hello."

I made my voice sound deeper, enhancing the effect of a male voice.

"Who is this?"

"I don't know, Jacob, who is it?"

I teased, talking lowly into the small device.

"Is this a prank? This isn't funny Finn."

I laughed, it sounded evil... demonic. An indication of pure death.

"I'm gonna make you wish it was Finn."

Then I remembered the voice line and thank the lord he didn't hang up.

"Oh."

His voice cowered.

"What's your favourite scary movie, Jacob?"

I smirked into the phone, seeing as he swiftly got up from his couch in panic, not even looking in the direction of the open window. Idiot.

"Leave me alone!" He yelled, hanging up on me.

"Won't do." I smiled, talking to myself before hopping his small fence, so much for looking pretty, not much for practicality. Jacob must've gone upstairs or something because I never saw him. I manoeuvred to the window and used the blade of my knife to quietly saw through the chain keeping it locked. It unfortunately wasn't open enough to just unchain it, but it still worked. I used my leather glove to push the window open wide for me to creep in. Perfect sizing huh. I set my foot on the counter and pushed off of the outside wall to get in. I was now inside. Footsteps were slow but I heard them, they came down the stairs, trying to be silent but failing. I hid behind a wall as Jacob came into the kitchen.

"Where are you, you bastard?" He tried to intimidate me but his back faced me, his eyes flickering over to the window, agape. He mentally scolded himself. "I'll take you down you scrawny little shit! Show yourself!" He blurted. He was making me angry. I was happy with how I had to let him scream to alarm the others on his street because, god, would I have struggled to hold back. Now was the time to strike.

I unsheathed my knife and followed him as he walked the complete other way. He could've at least grabbed a kitchen knife or something but the absolute dork was trying to use fists in a knife fight? I was gaining on him and he didn't even look behind him before I plunged the knife deep under his ribs. A deafening scream of agony ripped from his throat and he spun around, trying to throw a punch but failing miserably. He pushed me back, and I have to admit he was quite strong, but I was the one with a knife. I returned back to my place and stabbed him in the shoulder. He tripped over backwards and fell right onto the primary gash. Ouch. He curved upwards in pain, clasping the leg of the coffee table beside him. I'm not sure why, it's not like he could just hit me with a table. I straddled his dying form and smiled down at him, taking off my mask to reveal who I was.

Just then, he became himself. My ex. The man who had wronged me and tore up and smashed every little piece of me up, blending the remains like a smoothie. A deranged and crooked grin tugged at the corners of my lips. I atleast expected an insult but all I had from him was a shocked and pained expression. "You've had your fun, now die you lying waste of oxygen." I put my mask back on... well Danny's and made my final attack. A puncture to the heart.

I uncovered the camera and remembered how to focus and whatever since I did a little photography in school. I used the flash because all of Danny's other photos also did. I snapped one or two to decide on which one looks better later. The photos would send chills down my spine because obviously it's a corpse. But this one had a numbing effect... a sort of warmth to it. I liked it. 'The neighbours have definitely called the cops by now' I thought. I must leave. I packed up, wiping my knife on the thick leather of Danny's gloves and re-sheathed it. I stood up from the bloody scene and trotted off, hopping back through the window and out through the yard.

I seemed to had left just in time as sirens blared in the distance, I was luckily a street or two away so there's no chance they would've seen me or anything so it was all according to plan.
