TW: arguing/yelling, crying
Genre- angstRoman rose up in his room after filming. The episode was fun, he had an excuse to try different video styles and even roped in the nerd! But the best part? He had told Thomas his name, and it felt good. And the affirmation of being Thomas's hero made him feel like everything was worth it.
"You want to create, but you shackle your creativity."
On instinct, Roman whipped out his sword, whirling around to face the voice. Standing there was his brother.
"That's what you said to Thomas earlier, right?" Remus continued, expression unreadable.
Roman was still on the defense, ready to strike at a moment's notice. "Yes, I did. What's it to you." He hadn't meant for his tone to be so harsh, but oh well.
Remus snarled, and one might think his eyes were shining red. "You have no right to talk about being shackled! Not when you're the good creativity, the one whose input he considers instead of shutting it down the moment he gets it! Not when you get indulged, get a spot in the episodes, not when you're the one whose name he knows, who he knows exists, who isn't stuck in the shadows!! You have no right!" The side in green, whose voice had been steadily rising, was now quiet, crying inky black tears.
Roman was also stunned into silence, he'd never seen Remus like this before. So open, and.. vulnerable. It hurt, a bit. He was supposed to protect the people he loved, shouldn't his own brother be one of them...?
Remus sighed as he sunk out, too far away for Roman to reach out and grab him. "Remus-"
Nothing. The Duke was already gone, the room was silent.
"I'm sorry...."
