This is a random idea I'm so sorry--
I can't give a specific warning without spoiling it, so proceed with caution.

Genre- Mild Angst

Logan looked at the clock. It was one in the morning and he still hadn't fallen asleep. He sighed and realized it was one of those nights, so he might as well go downstairs and get some water.

He didn't expect to see a soft light coming from beneath the anxious trait's door. The light level suggested that he had a lamp on, and not just his phone. Perhaps he was drawing? Logan decided to investigate.

"Virgil?" the logical trait called, knocking on the door softly. "Are you still awake?"

"Yeah," came they reply from the other side of the door. "What's up?"

"Virgil, you need to rest. It's one in the morning."

"You know I stay up late, Lo. Besides, I kinda have a project I'm working on."

"Well, since I appear to be in an insomnia episode, perhaps I could assist you?"

"No thanks!" The reply came quickly, too quickly for Logan's liking.

"Virgil." Logan's tone was hard. "What are you doing?" Silence. "Virgil?"

"Just go do your thing and forget about me, ok? I'll be fine."

"Virgil, you know I can't do that.. please let me in."

There was a fairly heavy sigh, then, "Door's unlocked."

Logan eased the door open. Virgil was on his bed, the overhead light turned on, and a small stack of papers on the bed, the top one being blank. "What is this project you are working on?" Logan inquired.

"Just some art project thing, I don't how to explain it." Logan suspected that Virgil was lying, but he trusted the anxious trait.

"Very well, if that is all, then I shall be on my way." Logan bowed slightly and walked out, missing the sigh of relief that came when he closed the door.

Patton woke with a bright smile. It was a beautiful day out, and his mood was as bright as ever. He also wanted to have the entire famILY together for breakfast, so he did.

He went to Virgil's room and knocked softly. "Kiddo, you up yet?" No response. That wasn't unusual, Virgil normally slept in. But something wasn't sitting right with Patton.

The father figure opened the door a tiny bit and saw that there were five envelopes on Virgil's bed, each one a different color. Patton was rather curious, so he opened the door further and froze. Virgil was laying on the floor by his bed, lifeless.

The entire mindscape was woken by a scream that morning.
