Author's POV:-
"Maybe" Khushi's hand stopped and she looked up at Aadarsh.
"Maybe I'm falling for you, Khushi" Khushi's opened her mouth but no words come out.
"Say something" Khushi looked down not knowing what to say.
"Aadarsh-" And the next month she heard him laughing.
"Oh my look-look at your face" She stood up looking at him with anger.
"You were joking" He stood up too,still laughing.
"You think I would actually fall for you"
"Shut up" Khushi yelled hitting his shoulder.
"Aadarsh-Aadarsh" He started imitating her.
"I will kill you" She pushed him but he kept on imitating her.
"Please shut u-" Before she could complete her sentence she heard door bell.
She gave him look before going downstairs to open door.
"Wait I'm coming" Aadarsh said following her.
"Yes come and open the door and get lost" She was yelling at him.
"Wait, Khushi" He was on stairs when Khushi opened the door and he could see abrupt change in Khushi's expressions.
He furrowed and followed her.
"What happ-"
"Khushi"
"Dad"
Mahira and Zain were going back. Smile was not leaving Mahira's face.
She turned to Zain, who was busy on his phone.
"Zain, concentrate on driving" She said when she saw him complete lost in his phone.
"Sorry" He said shutting the phone.
"Are you okay? You seem upset" She asked with concern.
"I'm fine" He placed his hand on her hand.
"Oh you were talking with Siya, what she said?"
"Lakshya and Siya are comings then we will tell them about us" She was looking so excited.
"You love your friends" Zain said looking how happy she look when she talk about her friends.
"Of course"
"Where were you, Dad?" Khushi asked with tears in her eyes.
Her dad took a step.
"I was lost" He place his hand on her head. Khushi closed her eyes feeling the warmth.
"You never tried to find us?" She questioned him.
"I did. I tried to find you both but I couldn't"
"Aab main kabhi nhi Janne wala agar tum kaho bhi gi na fer bhi nhi" He hugged her as tears fell from his eyes.
"I missed you" She cried.
When they broke the hug, Khushi wiped her tears and smiled.
"Come inside" She hold his hand.
He smiled and stepped inside but then his eyes fell on Aadarsh.
"Boyfriend" He whisper in Khushi's ear.
Her eyes widened, she looked at him.
"Dad! Just friends"
"If you are saying" She shook her head.
Khushi looked at Aadarsh who was literally throwing glares at him.
"Aadarsh!" She called him for his attention.
"Seems like your friend does not like me"
"You are right. I don't like you" Khushi furrowed seeing his rude behavior.
Her dad was looking at him with narrowed eyes and Aadarsh was throwing daggers.
"Aadarsh, stop joking" He looked at her for a second and them smiled.
"Sorry, Mr.Dosanjh for this joke" He again turn to her dad and said while smiling.
"It's okay"
"Let's surprise mumma, Dad. She would be so happy" She said with excitement.
"Not now,Khushi. When the right time come I'll tell her" Khushi looked at him in confusion.
"Don't be confused, child. We will visit her in person then she will be more happy"
Khushi nodded smiling.
"Khushi, uhm I have to go now" Hearing him Khushi hold his hand tightly.
"No dad I won't let you go" He placed his hand on her face.
"I will come back and take you with me, Khushi but for now I have to go. Please"
"You will come, promise me" He smiled and kissed her head.
"Promise"
"Ah! We are just almost there. You reached, okay" Mahira said and cut the call.
"Siya and Lakshya reached"
"And we reached...too" Zain pull the car.
"I'm so excited to tell them" Mahira squealed making Zain laugh.
Both of them got out of the car.
Zain's phone start ringing, he picked it up.
"Wait. I'm just coming. Okay" With that Zain cut the call.
Mahira looked at him with raised eyebrows.
"I'm sorry, Mahira but just got call from dad about project so couldn't-"
"It's okay. Work is important. You go, we will meet later"
"Thank you" With that Mahira bid bye to him.
She took a deep breath and smiled widely.
"They would be so happy"
She opened the door to see everyone was sitting around Khushi.
"Guys I have a news for you" She said and grinned.
"What?" Siya asked.
"I told you about date with Lakshya" Siya nodded.
"So he I mean we confessed our feelings. He said he love me"
"Really!" Mahira nodded. Siya quickly hugged him.
"Finally he confessed" Lakshya said.
Mahira's eyes fell on Khushi.
"Aren't you happy, Khushi?" Mahira asked.
"I wanna tell you something" Khushi said.
"Don't tell me you like Zain too" Mahira thought.
"I met my dad today" Khushi said leaving everyone startled.
They stood there not believing what she said.
"You what?" Siya asked again.
"I met my Dad, Siya" Khushi eyes were teary but she also had smile on her lips.
Leaving Mahira, Siya and Lakshya's attention went on Khushi.
They started asking her questions and she was answering happily on the other hand Mahira's smile dropped completely.
Then she felt hand on her shoulder, shr turned to see Aadarsh.
"Congratulations, Mahira"
"Thanks" She simply replied, all her excitement vanished.
"What happened, Mahira" Noticing this Aadarsh asked her.
"It was supposed to be my moment not her"
At this moment, Aadarsh noticed her jealousy.
Ah! After so long I updated but what to do. I don't have any motivation.
