It was nearing the show time. Everybody was in costume, ready to wait for their call. At the moment the principle was having his way with his speech, thanking sponsors over and over again and talking about how this was good for the children. More like kissing hella ass.
The outfit Jimin had on was white, feathers here and there much like the girls' however, his was fitted for a man. The fabric hugged his thighs and the blouse was very light and felt like silk. It made him feel good, less nervous about the performance he had to do. They were stationed backstage, their turn was far into the future, much later than the other.
He had purposefully not eaten this morning and during the afternoon to maintain his figure, Madame Marie had walked by with a questioning look but said nothing critical. Water and a piece of gum have been his only sustenance.
"Nervous?" Asked Mingi. He was sitting down next to the platinum haired boy, scrolling through his phone, ideally ignoring time as it passed him by. He looked like he had no care in the world.
"You aren't?" Jimin asked back.
"Nah, it' s gonna be a breeze."
"Your confidence makes me more nervous." Jimin admits.
Mingi laughs at that then goes back to his browsing.

"This is not what I expected, it's so well done." Hyejin exclaims whilst the first act walks off the stage. Namjoon, her and Taehyung were sat in one of the many rows of guest. The auditorium was fairly full, decorated to the T with elaborate ribbons.
"Uh huh." Namjoon replies absent kindly as he looks down at the program for the millionth time since they sat down.
"Sweetheart, what is the matter?" Hyejin assures him.
"Nothing, it's just that, the acts are delayed, they started late, now everything is off."
"Yes, and?"
"We have a flight to catch, remember."
Taehyung, who is sitting on Namjoon's left catches wind of the conversation and looks up surprised. "You're leaving? You didn't tell us!"
Namjoon looks over and nods. "Yeah buddy, but it's only for a night, we'll be back tomorrow. We have to go attend an event with your grandmother."
"Oh..." Taehyung says sitting back down. The next act walks off the stage as the audience applauds.
"When is your brother performing?" Namjoon asks as he leans the paper over to Taehyung.
"He's after the short break, the 8th act."
Namjoon acknowledges it and sighs at that. They were still on the 3rd one.

Hours seem to pass by and now it's time for the break. The time is 7:30pm and Jimin's turn has yet to come up. Namjoon is getting increasingly impatient at the thought of missing it. He knows dancing is a major part of the boy's interest. He could only hope that it would move along faster.

8:00 pm rolls around and Namjoon can't stall it anymore. 'shit' he cusses. They're still nowhere close, and his plane is scheduled to leave at 8:30. They have to drive to the airport as well. He texts his people informing them of an unfortunate lateness. They understand, no surprise there.
