Soon everyone enters Tepes walks to the front of the audience. "Now before we begin, context. This takes place after Tai reviewed a movie called my pet monster and the director kinda called out Tai on things and well...made him depressed."

"Really?" Summer said

Tepes nods. "Really. RIGHT! context over !" He runs back to Stella and motions for her to play the video.

Stella nodded as she activated the camera and let it run as the light dimmed

We find our friend, the Tai Critic, on his recliner wearing a white shirt that says "I O Donuts" (the O being a donut) with various food items, including a bag of Tostito chips and a box of Zebra Cakes, piled on top of him. He's not looking too good.

Qrow whistles "man you hit rock bottom." Ruby nods as she rubs her dad's arm. "You can't solve your problems from a snack binge dad."

"Ok, don't do that, least have some dignity for the kids," Raven said

Summer sighs "eating your feelings doesn't help."

The Rose-Xiao Long family nodded

Soon Tai looks at the camera and seems to have the energy "Oh. Hello. I'm the Nostalgia Critic. I remember it so" Tai stuffs his face with a cookie "Well, ever since last week, when the comments were made by the director of My Pet Monster, I've been doing a little thinking, asking myself some questions, like...what the fuck am I doing with my life? " he asked with a sad face and mouth full of cookie showing he's in full depressed emotional eating mode.

"Good question..." some of the people said

Tai continues "Is this really what I wanna be? This pathetic loser? So, I do what I always do when I get depressed. I watch old nostalgic TV." Soon old commercials from the 80s and 90s play on screen.

"A coping mechanism, I believe," Ozpin said

Qrow "hey Nostalgia is a good thing."

"True." Salem and Oz said as the audience was now interested in what's gonna happen.

Soon an old toy commercial is seen for an old Atlas action figure called Sgt. Slaughter as Tai's voice is heard over the commercial "Oh, Sgt. Slaughter. You represent a simpler time when your last name could also represent illegal war crimes, or when your biggest problem was NOT collecting the latest action set."

Those who knew of this we're getting nostalgia from this

"I think I remember this being around," James said

Clover sighs "man I remember getting the PlayStation for Christmas one year and I was happy cause I bugged my parents for months."

"Which PlayStation?" Marrow asked. 

Clover holds up two fingers showing he got the 2nd console.

"Damn, That's an ancient console. Good for you." Marrow said.

He nods as he looks back at the screen. Soon Tai salutes the tv "Fight the good fight, Sgt. Slaughter!" Tai then sadly munches on some potato chips.

Ruby hugs her dad. "There there. Were here for ya dad."

Soon a commercial is seen of ninja turtle faunus from an old cartoon promoting their snack cake. "We're heroes in a half-shell, we're baking a surprise! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Pies!" Soon Tai's voice is heard over the commercial "Oh, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle pies. I remember when the line "Fresh from the Sewer" actually sounded appetizing." Before it cuts back to the original commercials audio "Fresh from the sewers to you!"
