Helix In! Time for another chapter of the Modern AU. And now, let's get to it!

Soon it cuts to them rushing to an airport as a fancy plane is seen which brought hope, only to be moved showing a propeller-powered plane operated by a short old woman. "WELL YA MADE IT! Now come on youngins! I'm not getting any younger !"

"Who is that?" Clover asks

"Skills are just as good as words are. Unless you got a proof...they are nothing!" Dread said a little angry about something else but is directing it out on a different matter (edited)

Helix sighs at his friend's bullshit now. "Not part of the problem," Helix said

"Sorry. It's something else, I didn't mean it. I know she has talents but I'm pissed off about something else that's all..." Dread said as he calmed down (edited)

Qrow looks at the older pilot and almost spills his drink. "It's her! It's my hero! The reaper !"

Tai was confused and when he saw her, he spat out his drink as well

Willow however was looking at the plane than at Tai. "You expect you, and her to fly IN THAT!?"

"We flew in more dangerous things than that before didn't we, Helix?" Dread asked his friend

"Prototype ships, ancient husks, yeah." Helix agreed. 

"I've heard about her, according to Governor-Militant Cordovin, she said she likes to harass her. Well, if anything I found it quite humorous, and since she wasn't causing too much trouble for others, I didn't issue an arrest order for her." James said

"Especially with some extra info I've found," James adds

"She is a Certified Badass.." Dread said about Maria Calavera

"Well, sorry for being rude, but who are you?" Orianna asks.

The old woman moves to the plane. "The pilot who's gonna leave ya behind if ya dont move it !" She crawls, CRAWLS into the cockpit as Tai sighs. "She was the only one who could get in the last minute." He says before going to the plane getting in.

"Still A Badass...." Dread said a little downcast at how the Universe did one of the Badasses like that

"You know what? So be it...I'll even recommend if she gets on time." Orianna betted as she pulled out a tablet as she began to set down her stuff and pulled out a tablet to work on some codes, expunging bugs or irrelevant codes and the whatnot as she sighs to herself. 'Hope it works...' she thought to herself.

And as she said and thought of her words, the plane began to move and eventually, soar up to the skies.

Maria simply had the time of her life as she felt her beloved aircraft fly. "You two good back there?" She asks Tai nods. "Yeah !" Soon a bump is felt as the Lane starts making noises. "WHAT WAS THAT !?" Maria laughs "Nothing! Just my old girl's time of the month is all !" Soon another jerk is felt.

"Oh, oum dads gonna die by a crazy old pilot!"

"Us damn it...someone Jinxed it" Dread muttered

"Ah, crap," Yang said

"How long did you have this plane?" Orianna asks
"For about 20 years, this old baby just keeps on kicking!" Maria says as Orianna was trying to spot any sort of areas that need repair or a retrofit.

Soon out of nowhere they begin to take a nosedive. With Tai screaming while the old bat is laughing her ass off. 

"Come on girl! Ya got some life in ya !" She said as she beat on the console with a wrench.
