Helix In! Now, we're in the endgame

The Frumentarii walked until they reached a room that seemed to be place as Morrowind cracked his neck and opened the door. Kali, while she was caring for the kids, noticed the door open and saw Robert Patrick in a full uniform enter. "Penny for your thoughts?" The man asks

Kali simply looked at the man with a perplexed eye
"Who are you?" She asks as the man sighs as his body seemingly melts into a black mannequin-like figure before shifting back into a man with a Qing-era que.
"Better?" Morrowind asks as Kali slowly nods.

"I may never get used to seeing that, but that is very useful." She says as Morrow simply let out a small giggle. "A simple trick of ours, may I sit next to you?" He asks her

Kali nods, "Just don't forget to show respect to your senior." Says with a hint of sass.

"Hmph, you do realize that I am older than you by centuries yes?" He quips as Kali nods.

"And I still hold rank, so silence Junior." She quips once more.

"Yes, most exalted one." He says as sits next to her as Kali had a smug face on. "Sass aside, how are the children?" He asks

"They're fine, just tired from playtime. Such little angels, reminds me of Blake when she was a small thing." She says.

"Looking back...those two remind me of Demitria, bless her soul." Morrowind says as that got Kali's attention.

Kali gives him a comforting smile, "I never knew you had children."

Kali looks at Marrow as she says, "if you ever want to talk about it, I'm all ears."

"Thank you, but she wasn't my child, more of an adopted one. Did your family tell you of what happened when it showed my orgins?" He asks as he looks at her

Kali shakes her head, "no. Then again I was more worried of what they would think of me."

"Understandable." He says as he cracked his neck.

"Demitria, she was one of the Arc children of the Forsaken Witch." He says, now deciding to reveal it, letting it sink in

Kali listen with full intent to give this man respect and help, for all her sass, she was a good person to lean on when needed, but may too need help eventually.

However while all seemed calm, on the outside with the others, to be exact Natasha and Bandit jaune. The VDV Officer was tense and grip her Krinkov hard enough you could hear the gun creak from the pressure. "I no like this, is like desert all over again." She says.

As Natasha squeezes her gun, Bandit is setting up one of many of his battery traps behind a door.

Natasha sighs, "bandit, Jaune." She says in a now more softer voice almost hinting on concern, "You believe we will survive this war?"

Bandit, being the veteran he is, just plainly looks at her.

The large Slavic woman just looks at Bandit with true fear behind her eyes, which were her mothers eyes. "I mean, will either one of us survive?" Now the fear was clear In her voice.

The German stands up before taking off his balaclava to reveal his bearded face. He puts his hand on her shoulder, "Do not worry... We will get through this alive."

She breaths and nods, "Da, da. I just" she stops as hers and bandit jaunes radios erupt with static. "CYKA BLYAT!?" She yells ripping her ear piece out.

Jaune presses the button on his radio, "What the hell is going on?!"

Nothing but static was the response until a sound erupts through the building, a sound neither solider, first responder, or counter-terrorist operative ever want to hear, an explosion. Natasha looks directly where it is and soon begins to move. "Nyet, nyet, NYET! Putin and the command staff are in that direction!"
