Note/Clarifications

Hello everyone.. first of all thank you for taking your time and reading Beholding Trust.

I would really like to clear some points.

Beholding Trust deals with a sensitive topic and I don't know how many of you have seen this situation but I do have and infact seen many times specially if you remove the male character from the story.

Even though we are living in 21st century we still have so many stereotypes. Asbah's situation is very common in INDIAN SUBCONTINENT (India, Pakistan and Bangladesh).

No matter how much you study or become independent but if your in law's will demand that you will have to leave your high paying jobs then women do that, that's only one fact I am stating.

Leaving a child, aborting a child is very common too specially when you are wed off between 18-23. If your parents supports you then the society doesn't let you live and that's the fact.

Even the readers thought and pointed out that how could a mother leave her child behind, what kind of mother is she? Why she is crying now and all.

And they were absolutely right in pointing out but when you live under the shadow of your husband and in laws, when you are brought up in a typical patriarchal society then you are forced to take choices you don't even like.

Believe me a woman, divorced/ widow or unmarried is still frowned upon If she lives alone. And you can't expect Asbah's parents leaving her alone when she wasn't even 25. Most of the parents if they remarry their daughter actually brings up their grandchildren, it's common.

So I can just ask my readers (male or female) just see around yourself and you will know that this story will make every single sense except having a supporting husband like Shahyaan offcourse. And the reverse is also true.

Lastly, I started writing this story in 2019 as a fan fiction like many others and when I was trying to get away from some things I ended up changing some things and posting it here as original characters.

So if you didn't like the theme, concept or my writing, it's your personal choice and I really appreciate that you pointed out my mistake.

I would like to share one more thing, when I was writing this in June (officially i ended it June) I came across a report published and according to that report, 85%+ of married, highly educated women loose their identity, their freedom after getting married. I was highly amused since it is common nowadays and now even the reasearch proves it.

The report even stated that they have to ask everything from their husbands. That's the condition of women in India, Indian subcontinent and around the world too.

Lastly, I was supposed to write a closure part of Beholding Trust too and I suppose I would really write that and post anytime soon.

Do share your views if you like.
