Chapter 2

Madison's P.O.V

I woke up feeling refreshed and ready for school.

I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom.

I knocked on the door because it was locked.

"I'm in here", Jay yelled.

"Jay hurry up or we'll be late"

"Yea, yea", he opened the door.

He stretched out his hand gesturing for me to go in, I rolled my eyes and went in.

When I went in he left and I locked the door. I brushed my teeth and showered.

When I finished getting ready I went downstairs and everyone was already eating.

"Morning"

"Hey honey, your breakfast is on the counter"

"K", I went to the kitchen and grabbed my plate, I went to the table next to Ahlia.

When I finished eating mom dropped Jay and I to school.

When I got out of the car, I stared at the school, feeling a little nervous.

"Your gonna be fine", Jay said putting his arm around me.

"I hope", I sighed.

We walked into the school, got our schedules and went our separate ways.

As I turned the corner to my first class, I bumped into someone.

"Sorry", I rushed out.

"Watch where your going", he spat at me.

I looked up and saw a boy with brown hair and brown eyes, staring at me.

"It was an accident"

"Do I look like I care?"

"Hey, no need to be rude about it, I said sorry"

"I said sorry", he mocked me.

I started to get upset.

I took a breath in, "I don't have time to argue with a five year old"

And with that I walked to my class.

Aiden's P.O.V
I watched as she walked away.

No one has ever stood up to me like that, especially not a girl.

I was drawn to her for some reason- what am I saying, I chuckled to myself.

I walked to the back of the school where my friends and I hang when we ditch class.

When I went there I saw Ruby, Ryan, Amy and Miles.

"Did the pills work?", Ruby whispered to me.

"Yea", I lied.

"Hey man", Ryan said.

"Hey, you guys smoking?"

"Not me, I'm trying to quit", Ryan responded.

"Wow, ok", I replied.

"What? Not because you guys wanna ruin your lives means that I want to ruin mine"

"Whooaa, don't forget when you were one of us"

"I didn't mean it like that"

"That's exactly how you meant it!", I yelled.

"Guys, chill out", Miles said.

"No, because all of a sudden he thinks he's better than us, well me tell you something, your just trash in disguise, a fake little piece of-!", Ryan punched me right across the jaw.

I was getting ready to punch him back but Miles held me back, and Ruby went to hold back Ryan.

"You guys just stop", Amy said.

"Don't worry, I'm done with this", Ryan said shrugging off Ruby and walking away.

"Who the hell does he think he is?", everyone stared at me.
"What?"

"Oh I don't know, maybe because you just ruined a relationship with your best friend", Amy said.

"Me? Look, thats not Ryan, I don't know who that is", I said walking off.

Madison's P.O.V
School was over and my mom picked me up, Jay decided to stay back to join some extracurriculars, at least he's fitting in.

I didn't even make one friend, my first day of school and I already made trouble with someone, but to be fair he was such a jerk.

When I came home, I went straight to my room. I placed my bag on the floor and took up my phone.

For some reason, I just kept thinking about him and I wanted to look him up but I didn't know his name.

15 minutes later

"Madi!", Jay called when he came in.

"I'm in my room!", he came in.

"Hey", he said as he opened the door.

"What's up"

"Well, I signed up for the school's basketball team"

"Wow, that's cool"

"Save your wow's for when I actually make the team", I chuckled.

"Ok"

"What you doing?"

"Just chillin"

"Ok", he was about to leave.

"Hey, did you happen to make any friends, or meet new people"

"Well, I met this guy named Miles, who is on the basketball team, so"

"Wow, good for you"

"Yea I guess", then he walked out.

"Do you by chance know his last name?"

"Um, I think it was Johnson, why?"

"Just curious", he at me weirdly.

I took my chances and type in Miles' name on insta, unfortunately it wasn't who I wanted it to be.

I went to his following list and he was only following 5 people.

A girl named Amy, three other boys named, Ruby, Ryan and Aiden, and he also follows 'The Rock'.

I looked at all the profiles and when I got to Aiden's, I stopped.

It was him.

He just had one picture of him with a cigarette in his mouth.

I don't really know why I'm looking this up, because he was a total jerk to me.

And not I'm attracted to bad boys or anything but... I don't know.

I just hope that tomorrow is a lot better than today was.
