Chapter 15

I was at home sitting on my couch when the front door burst open.

And in came Miles, Aiden and Ruby.

It took me a while to notice Miles was staring at me and I looked at his head and my eyes went wide.

"Oh my gosh, you did it!", I got out of the chair and went towards him.

He wasn't completely bald but his hair was gone.

"You did kinda dare him to do it", Ruby added.

"I didn't think he'd actually do it", said staring at his head.

"I never back down from a dare", Miles said.

"It wasn't really a dare, though"

He shrugged and went to the kitchen.

I looked at Aiden and he shrugged and went to the couch.

"Don't worry, I had the exact same reaction, even though I knew his goldfish like brain would go and do it", Ruby said and walked to the couch.

I went over to the kitchen.

"I know is this kinda my fault, but can I do it?"

"Do what?", he looked me in the eye then realized what I was talking about.
"No", he shook his head eating a cookie he found in the pantry.

"Why not?"

"No", he answered in a child like voice and walked to the living room with the cookies.

"If you let me do it, I'll let you keep the cookies"

"I was already planning on keeping them", he replied.

"Do what?", Aiden asks as I sit next to him.

"She want to hit me at the back of my head"

"Ha!", Ruby laughed.
"Trust me I've tried, he's been on guard all day"

Just then Hannah and Ryan came in.

"Ohh ho ho, he did it!", Ryan yelled as soon as he saw Miles.
"I like your cut g", he slapped Miles at the back of his head catching him off guard.

Miles turned to him, "Ow", he said dramatically.

"I didn't do it that hard", Ryan laughed.

"What's with all the noise down here?", Jay asked coming downstairs looking like he just woke up.
"And what's with Hiram Garcia over here", he said referring to Miles.

"Madi here, dared him to shave his head", Ruby said.

"It wasn't a dare", I argued.

"And he actually did it", Jay ignored me with his eyes wide.

Jay came over examining Miles' head.

"Can yall like give my head a break, she just had a really traumatizing opointment"

"Your insane", was all Jay said and sat down.

"So Jayden, where's your new wifey?", Ryan asked.

"She's out with some of her friends", he answered focusing on the TV.

"When is she gonna come around here?", I asked.

"I don't know"

"It better be soon or I'm gonna start believing she's not real", Miles said.

"Boy, you don't talk about things not being here, I'm not the one whose missing a couple hair stands... everywhere"

"Damnn, why so defensive?"
