Another week later

I'm now by Hannah, and we're getting ready to go shopping.

"I still don't get why we have to go shopping, not like its prom"

"Because were in high school, let's enjoy it before we get old and die", she replied harshly.

"I guess your right", I sighed.

"Ok, so update me"

"Sorry?"

"You know, Aiden", she said whispering his name.

"Why did you whisper his name?"

"I don't know, it needs to sound dramatic"

"Okay", I chuckled.
"Well, we kissed", I said kind of wincing a bit at the memory.

"Shut up", she said dropping a hanger with a dress on it.
"Are you joking? Tell me your joking"

"I kinda wish I was", I said honestly.

I wish I was joking because even though we talked about it, I can still feel a weird tension between us. Like do we just go back to being friends?

"When was this?"

"At the party for the team"

"Oh my gosh, why didn't you tell me?"

"It didn't come up", I shrugged.
"By the way, did you go to the party?"

"No, Ryan refused to go, so I just stayed with him", she sighed.

"Don't you think it's time for them to make up?", I asked her.

"Trust me I've tried"

"Well, let's try again", I suggested.

"Ok, we can do that after homecoming, for now let's just have some fun, Okay?"

"Okay"

"You guys went dress shopping?", Jay asked slightly confused.

"That's what I said", I replied eating a grape.

"Who are you going with?"

"Hannah and Ryan"

"And your okay with third wheeling them?"

"Yeah, I guess"

"Don't do that to yourself, you can come with me and the guys"

"No, I'm good"

"Is it because of Aiden?"

"Maybe a little"

"Did you guys talk about it?"

"We agreed that we were good but it doesn't feel like it"

"As much as I don't approve, you should find out what he's thinking "

Door bell

"Bet you five bucks its him", I rolled my eyes and walked to the door.

And it was him.

"You owe me!", he yelled and then walked upstairs.

"Should I be concerned?", Aiden asked.

"No, what's up?"

"Wanna hang out?"

"Sure, where to?"

"I don't know, maybe grab something to eat?"

"Yes, I'm starving, can I change first?"

"Yeah, go ahead"

"Come in", I gestured for him to come inside but he stayed.
