Next day
Aiden's P.O.V

I woke up and the space next to me was empty. I opened my eyes and saw on Madison's pillow a piece of paper with writing on it. In other words. A note.

I left for school, hope you enjoy your day without me, there's bacon on the counter see ya later. Madi :)

I smiled and it was really hard to stop.

Damn how did I get so lucky?

I finally got out of bed and went downstairs. Where I saw Ahlia watching TV.

"Why aren't you at school?", I asked her.

"The cafeteria got burned, isn't that cool?"

"...so cool", I said unsure with a piece of bacon in my mouth.

I made some pancakes then walked to the living room.

"Can I have some?"

I stretched the plate out to her. And she took some bacon.

"So why didn't your parents tell me I'd be baby sitting?"

"First off I'm 11"

"So a baby"

She rolled her eyes.

I think I know who she got that from.

"Secondly, your not babysitting me. I can take care of myself, I'm basically a teenager"

"Sure"
"Well then I guess it's just you and me, what you watching?", I asked leaning back into the chair.

"Gabby's dollhouse"

I looked at her.

"What? it's entertaining. It doesn't make me baby though"

I chuckled.

Madison's P.O.V

It's now lunch and I'm eating with Hannah cause she refuses to sit with the boys.

"That's sad", she frowned.

I had just finished telling her about Aiden's mom.

"Yeah", I sighed.

"How is Aiden doing?"

"To me he looks like he's getting better but I don't know how he's feeling for sure, I mean only he can know"

"Word"

"What?"

"Word"

"Don't. Don't do that- what does that even mean?"

"I don't know, I heard it on TV"

"You wanna come over by me later?"

"Sure"

"Jayden will take us"

Now that Hannah and Ryan are still 'taking a break', Hannah has been taking the bus to school. Every time I insist on asking Jay to pick her up she refuses.

"Yeah okay"

"Hello ladies", Miles came and sat at our table.

"Hey Miles"

Hannah didn't answer.

"Hello to you too Hannah"
"Anyways you and Ryan need to figure out what you guys are doing because it's pretty obvious its crushing you being without each other"

"I already decided that I want to take a break"

"Is that really what you want?"

"Maybe it's what I need, okay", she snapped back and then stormed out of the cafeteria.
