Chapter 7

Aiden's P.O.V
"Are you the soft one?", I asked Ruby.

"No because I'm not the one who still sleeps with a stuffed animal", Ruby said.

We were trying to figure out who's the softest in the group, for some reason.

"Shhhh, it's the only soft part of me I got left, man", Miles said dramatically.

"Dude, all of you is soft" Ruby responded.

"Tell that to my-"

"Please don't finish that sentence", I rushed out.

We were at school, standing by my locker. I decided that I'll actually start attending my classes, well most of 'em.

But point is, I'm mainly here to see Madison, not to be a simp or anything, but yea.

Since I'm obviously not welcome in her house, it's kinda the only chance I got.

"So are you gonna look for Madelyn or....", Ruby asked.

"Its Madison, and yea I'll find her"

"It is the only reason you came early", Miles said.

"No", I said walking away.

"Simp!", he teased from down the hall and I could hear Ruby laughing.

Madison's P.O.V
"Homecoming, two weeks", Hannah stated.

"Ok", I chuckled.

"Your going, right?"

"I mean..."

"Madi", she groaned.

"Ok, I'll go but only if I get your chicken nuggets at lunch"

"But you could get your own"

"I want mine and yours"

"Fine", she sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Hi", I turned around to where the familiar voice was coming from.

"Hey"

"You guys are friends now?", Hannah asked.

"Sort of", I responded.

"Well I was wondering if, maybe you wanted to hang out today?"

"Like after school?"

"She's ain't going no where with you", Hannah said.

I turned to her and gave her a look, "I'll leave now", she replied.
"But I'll be back!", she yelled from down the hall.

"Yea after school", he chuckled.

"Ok, yea we can hang out"

"Good, meet me in the parking lot?"

"Oh you meant, right after school"

"Well, only if that's good with you", I saw a hint of hesitation in his eyes and it was cute.

"I don't know, I think I'm busy", I stated.

"Ok, tomorrow maybe?", now I saw hurt in his eyes.

"Nope"

"Busy?"

"No"

"Ok, I have to go-", he said scratching his neck.

"How about now?"

"As in ditch school?"

"Mhm"

"You would do that?", I could hold my laugh.
