"Have a nice day, Binnie!" I wave back at my mom before running to where Jisung was waiting.

"Han Jisung!" I call out to the boy leaned up against the street lamp. His wide, wanderlust eyes meet me, resulting in a tight smile. "Do you have Anatomy answers-"

He holds up a piece of paper jotted with no empty space. "Oh thank you," I sigh, taking it and walking on the bus with him.

The bus was already crowded by many students ranging all through high school. Few went right back to sleep against the window while other chatter or caught up on homework like I was about to do.

We seat right behind Chan as he was in mid-conversion with a boy I've never met. "Good morning, Changbin, Han Jisung," he nods to us both.

Han's cheeks swell pink before taking the seat at the window. "Good morning, President-"

"Jisung, I thought I told you to call me Chan," he chuckles to my friend who just pulls the smallest of smirks and nods. "I'd rather have you guys as my friends instead of my classmates."

That was when I dove into Jisung's paper, copying his work and adding some differentiation. The vehicle jolted every now and then before stopping to let more on and to give me more time.

I feel Jisung's eyes nailed on me. "Did you even do it?" He asks. I knew he wasn't the biggest fan of copying answers, but I always eased those nerves of his with a fulfillment of his wishes.

"Yes," I say, glancing up and handing back the paper. "It's always just one or two that I don't get." And it as true. I never wanted to make him any more uneasy than he already was.

He purses his lips and furrows his brows while storing his homework back in his bag. "Alright, man," he sighs and shoves his earbuds back in

It was then our attention flicks back up at his name being shouted from the front of the bus. I could almost hear his heart plumpish. "Hey! Can I sit behind you guys?" A small, brunette boy grins one of the tiniest smiles I had ever seen.

My friend stares back up at him as still as stone. "Of course," he says, gesturing a hand back to behind him.

I only nudge him harder, but he didn't speak a word of explanation. I only stopped when the boy's head appeared in between us. My eyes go up to that cheery look. "Hi," he bows lightly. "I'm Lee Minho."

"I met him yesterday after basketball," Han adds, making sure to show a smile at his new friend. My expression sat frozen at the suddenness of it all.

Then he did seem familiar. "You're on the basketball team." More of a realization than a question.

He beams and nods happily. "Yeah, you've seen me play then?" The largeness of his eyes astonished me. So much of the world lied just in his eyes.

Before I could speak a word back, a hand grabs the handle of his bag and shoves him down on his bottom. "Hey!" He notions up to the senior I had only seen a few times.

"Sit down," Hwang Hyunjin shakes his head before sitting beside him. Minho just shakes his head before speaking through the visible crack between our seats.

"You've seen me play?" He muffles.

I crack a laugh and nod. "Yeah, of course I have. You're the quick one on the court. Number 8?"

His smile widens, resulting in a firm shake to Hyunjin's shoulder. "He knows my number!" The senior just nods, not looking up from his phone.

With his front strands of hair tied to the back of his head, I got a glance of his sharp features. They were soft now, but if he got mad...I couldn't imagine the glare.

He looks up at his friend, those eyes trailing with the phone he was handing. "Hyung, what do you think?" He asks.

Minho's eyes light up just as the bus jolts forward, allowing my position to as well. A string of compliments pour from his chattery mouth before a phone screen appears in front of me. "Minho!"

"Look how great it is!" Minho notions to me, ignoring the older one.

'Holy shit.' The screen shook a bit from the ongoing bus ride, but it didn't stop me from capturing the digital drawing of...it was so much. Flowers, fireflies, trees, planets, like all of the universe in one picture.

He pulls it away just as we arrive at the school. "It looks great! Ask them if you can make a mural of it," Minho says, only for the Hyunjin to stand and hurry off of the bus.

"Hey," I shoot up, chasing his down the steps and towards a pair of doors. He stops to turn to me, those eyes resting with ease but his cheeks swelling pink. "It looks really good...like it's beautiful. How did you do that?"

He shrugs, a corner of his mouth tugging at a smile. "I have a lot of time after school," he says, not without a crack piercing through, though. He swallows it down, his mood all of a sudden falling taunt.

I eased away, feeling bad for coming off as too straightforward. "Sorry," I say. He nods, flashing a quick grin as well.

He must've felt bad too because his next words left me speechless. "Can I show you something...where I paint them I mean?"

I didn't know I replied until my hand was in his, and we were trudging up the flights of stairs to the roof.
