Seungmin's POV
Monday

I had been writing for 5 minutes with everyone's eyes on me. It was silent except for the sound of the lead scratching ideas on the sheet of paper we were all given. Chan had assigned us all a piece of paper to jot film ideas on; however, knew everyone else's was blank.

Nevertheless, I didn't stop, even when Minho said, "why do you need all 7 of us again?" Looking up for the first time since starting, I catch Chan picking at his lip in thought. "All you need in Seungmin-"

"Seungmin's the producer and editor," he says, slapping his hands together and holding them up to his mouth as if in prayer. His eyes squint. Felix slips the paper from beneath my hand and begins reading with Hyunjin looking over his shoulder. "And this is more of a punishment for some of you."

Minho leans against the adjacent desk and sighs. Jisung, who was surprisingly wearing glasses today, did the same.

"What if we did an action film?" Sounds Changbin.

"Of what though?" Jeongin asks from the desk that Felix was seated at. "We aren't exactly the type to do stunts." He looks to Minho as he says that, the junior only frowning at the truth in his words.

Felix huffs a laugh, and we all turn to him, waiting for an explanation. "I didn't think you to be romantic, Seungmin," was all he had to say before everyone was pouncing on the paper to get a good read.

I lean back in embarrassment, Felix laughing all the while. Whispers of my words sound from each of them until I was burning as red as Mars.

"'And as she looked into my eyes, all I wanted was to run away with her.' Seungmin, this is perfect!"

"No, it's not. Give it back," I snap, clawing at the paper, only for President to hold it out of my reach. My fists slams on the desk. "I wrote that without thinking of the female we'd need for this."

"Who says we need a female?" Minho's arms were crossed and his brows furrowed. I was shocked to find him standing up for the gender roles in such a typical romance.

Without removing his eyes from the paper, Chan says, "prior approval by the principal is needed before going to the festival. He would not approve of a same sex romance."

"We aren't saying it's wrong either," Felix says, quick to defend. "But Hyunjin's dad is-"

"Homophobic. You're right," the blonde replies, piercing his dragon eyes into his hands fidgeting with his rings. His tone was too sharp for such a reply, and I only felt sympathy for him.

I pat his shoulder in reassurance, receiving a quick smile on return.

"Who knows a girl that'd be interested in acting?"

We all exchange glances, searching for a hint of an idea in each other's eyes. Then, a sound of victory comes from Hyunjin. We all face him and his sideways grin as he says, "I know a girl."

Jeongin was shivering from beside me. It had been colder today than usually. The teachers had closed the windows and people were wearing their coats today. It was only September, but winter seemed to be in a hurry to return.

I had only managed to grab a scarf before Hyunjin ripped me from my locker and led me to the track. And so here we all were, crowded on one bench in the metal bleachers, watching cheer practice.

"I feel like this is violating in a way," Changbin says, rubbing his hands up and down his arms, his jacket zipped over his uniform.

Chan nods from beside me, not taking his eyes off the 12 girls doing their routine. When he exhales deeply, a faint mist of steam clouded from his lips. "Why exactly are we skipping lunch for this, Hyunjin?" A genuine question, and one that we were all dying to hear. Especially seeing how we were the only boys openly watching their cheer practice instead of eating. A few boyfriends sat to watch closer to the girls, but it wasn't as creepy as 8 strangers watching from way high up.
