Felix's POV

I don't remember hugging someone as hard as I hugged Jeongin. It was like seeing the sun shine again. It was like pure euphoria, a moment in which the world dedicated it just for us. The others looked exhausted, but seeing Minho and Hyunjin smile at one another was enough to let me know that everything was finally as it was. Everything was going to be okay.

"The place looks incredible," the youngest chuckles idly as he looks up at the lack of cobwebs and brown splotches here and there. His smile even heightens at the absence of orange bottles. "You guys are amazing. Thank you so much."

"Don't mention it," says Hyunjin before hugging him from behind. From the expressions of the others, it was clear that this was definitely a glow-up from the last time they saw this place. Each gave their own little congratulations to Jeongin; it made the youngest shine brighter than I have ever seen him.

From the fire escape, Seungmin head pops in. "Can you all give me a hand?" He pants, wrapped up blankets perched on his shoulder like a parrot.

Each of us take turns hauling blankets from Seungmin's truck, up the fire escape, and in the living area where we made ourselves room for a giant bed. The entire process was done with smiles and laughs, even a little teasing as if nothing was wrong. Everything that had happened at the school and between us was all forgotten in the meantime. 'Thank god.'

Chucking some pillows at Changbin, my attention is suddenly on the sky. "I think I saw a shooting star," I say, stopping the work of Chris and Minho from beside me.

"Where?" Chirps Jisung as he crawls from the window, his large eyes reflecting that of the night sky.

Chris points to the spot where I saw it. "There."

"I wanna see!" Changbin chides like a baby as he clambers beside Jisung. We all share a laugh before waiting patiently for the next.

After a few seconds, Seungmin's hand shoots up. "There!"

     "Aww I missed it!"

"I saw it too! Look, another one!"

All our hands are to the stars, directing the gazes of those searching for the little streak. Then, it was clear it was more than one, and then it rained the silver stars.

"Woah," Jisung whispers. All of our hands slowly lower as the meteor shower above us go on. From every direction, it seemed a star fell down to the glass of the globe and to the horizon.

From beside me, Chris whispers, "how many wishes do you reckon we get," in English. I coax out a smile.

"English please!" Shouts Minho from the corner of the platform, his head leaned back over the railing.

With a laugh, I translate for them. Hyunjin shuffles closer to me, not taking his eyes off the phenomenon. "I wish to spend the rest of my days with you," he whispers as the others discuss their own wishes. I catch Chris look to me, immediately forcing myself to hide my flushed grin. Hyunjin just looks to the others, but not without the ghost of his hand gently caressing my waist.

"Wait wait," Jisung chimes in, "aren't we not supposed to share our wishes?"

"Eh, there's plenty to go around." Everyone chuckles at Changbin, our faces bright with the ongoing shower of potential wishes. "Let's all say one aloud. It's bound to come true if only we hear it. The gods will never know."

Seungmin scoffs from the railing, his head perched on Jeongin's shoulder. "I'm sure that's exactly how that works," he teases. Then, looking back up, he takes a deep breath. "I wish for good luck among us. No more cops. No more chasing."
