Han's POV
That Night

"Alright...1, 2, 3, Cham Cham Cham! No!" I scramble for the pot, but miss and receive a wooden spoon to my head. "Gosh, I wish you had something softer."

"You're the one that wanted to play!" Remarked Jeongin before restarting the round. "Cham Cham Cham! Dude, you're so bad at this, hyung."

Another bop to my head. I feel it swelling red, so I surrender before any more could rain down. "What time is it now?" I look to Felix, who was still blowing up balloons in the nook area of his room.

"Still 9:30. You asked that 30 seconds ago," he chuckles to himself, tying a blue balloon and tossing it to me. It floats down into my lap, giving me the satisfaction of something to play with while we wait awhile longer. "Chris, how's the cake looking?"

"Ehh," he trails off before laughing and burying his head in his crossed arms. "Ahhhh, it's so hard. Why did you make us do it?"

Minho looks up with complete and utter confusion. "What do you mean? It looks great."

"No, look at how we did his name!" Feeling curious myself, I get up and inspect their work. I'm not even halfway over there when I see the uneven lines and lettering spelling out, "happy birthday, Kim Seungmin."

With a held in laugh, I say, "that's not too bad." The second Minho looks to me, I fall under vulnerability and burst out laughing.

"You little-come here!"

"No no, I swear it looks good," I assure, stepping back until I'm met with Felix's bed. There, Minho corners me and my quaking stomach fighting to hold in a wave of giggles. "Minho, if you tickle me, the whole neighborhood will wake up from the sound of a dying girl."

From the floor, Jeongin's head pops up. "Is that what you sound like?" He trails off into a miniature laugh at the sight of my pulled frown.

Minho's smirk morphs into a wicked grin. "It's worse than you think," he snickers. At that moment, I knew my fate was decided for me.

"Minho! Oh my god, stop!" Half of what I say is inaudible as it's mostly just screams and laughs. His hands wiggle at my sides, digging into the sensitive skin like worms. It tickled so much it hurt. From the side, I see everyone else laughing at the scene unfolding before them. "Minho," I warn, "any louder and-and Felix's mom will hate me forever."

"Fair point," he says flatly and draws back. I lie on the bed panting like I just ran for my life.

Suddenly, though, a shout sounds from Felix's opened window. I sit up just as Felix takes his place on the nook, peering his head out. A laugh signals to us that it's Changbin and Hyunjin working on the lights.

"God, they can't do anything by themselves, can they?" Jeongin says, rolling back onto his feet and stretching upright. "I'll go give them a hand."

Chris chuckles before looking to Felix. "Our maknae is getting bolder everyday. I suppose I'll go help to. Coming, Felix?"

The blonde steps back from the window just in time to exchange glances between Chris and Minho and I. With a sly smile, he asks in a taunting voice that made me want to tear my face off, "will you guys be okay on your own?"

"Of course we will!" Minho scoffs bitterly, only giving the two aussies permission to stall out of the room. As always, they did it while checking back at us every now and then until they were completely down the stairs, in which meek laughter was heard.

I click my tongue in annoyance. "Why do they have to act like-" I'm stopped by a pair of lips connecting to mine. My breathing comes to a pause and I feel my pulse increase with every second spent kissing him. When he pulls away, I only have the breath to say, "damn you."
