Sitting on the beach, listening to the waves crash, I instantly think of my father and I walking along the beach when I was younger.
"DADDY!! Can we go in the sea please? Please? Please!!!!" I beg. I love the ocean. I'd get on my knees and beg to be with the ocean.
"Well we got ready to go in the water so let's go" he chuckles kneeling down to my level stroking my cheek.
"God thank you for making my daughter so beautiful" he whispers, I bunch up my nose and giggle. "Papa! That's all you!" I respond fluffing his amazing hair!
"It'll always-" he begins. "It'll always end with us!" We say in sync. Thats our saying...
I haven't been able to say it when I saw him when he visits from heaven but...maybe I will.
Next time... when I see him. In my dreams where I'm becoming more comfortable with being asleep. I no longer have the demon in my head.
"Papa! We go swim! I wa go swim!!!" I jump on the stop holding his shoulders as he hold my sides as he chuckles. He pats my side standing up then taking my small hand with his guiding me to the ocean.
The ocean crashing against my stomach tickling me, I giggle and watch my father bounce and splash me in the water. "Papa!!!" I scream in happiness.
He continues splashing. "PAPA! IS IN MY EYES!!!" I shake trying to shield myself from the water so he stops. He picks me up and holds me close to his chest. My legs rest by his waist and I lay my head against his shoulder.
"Darling?" He asks. I hum. "Want to go see uncle Sebby. It's the 17th. We can go on the 19th." He asks. I lift my head in excitement. "Yeah! Yeah!!" I respond back.
And that was the last time we went to the beach together.
"Pluto! Come on bud" I pack up the beach things as Pluto comes rushing back from the ocean. His floppy ears are amazing.
A hand gently places itself on my hip, I look at Paddy and he smiles. "What's up?" I ask.
"I don't want to have to leave you" he states. "It's okay. It'll always end with us." I whisper.
He arches his eyebrows. "My father used to tell me that. I haven't said it in a while. Why not continue to use it. Because I realise that he was my world, and now you're my new world. Because when my world died, you built my world back up. So, it'll always end with us" I explain quietly.
He smiles. "I'm glad I built up your world. But it will always end with us. I will always choose you." He gently strokes away my stray tear. I feel sand be slightly kicked at my feet, I look down and see Pluto wagging his tail so the sand flicks to my feet.
I grab Pluto's leash and Paddy takes the bags. We begin walking back to the hotel as me and Paddy talk.
"You know, when I go back to London, I know the time difference will be different. I don't care what time it is where I will be, call me when you want and when you need okay. I don't care if it's 3 in the morning. I will answer. We have 2 days until we have to say goodbye, it will hurt but..." he sighs taking my hand in his.
"But I know everything will be okay. I know that when you have an audition next week you'll get it. You'll be successful like Seb. You'll grow up and live a better life than you ever though you'd have okay?" He states.
I chuckle with a tear in my eye.
"It always ends with us" he whispers loud enough so I can hear him. I smile at him.
We get back and see nobody in the lobby. We're surprised because they're normally here. As we get to the elevator I hear Seb behind us. "Want me to take Pluto because me and the guys are having a few board games, we can take him and you can be alone." He asks. I look at Paddy and nod. I give Sebastian the leash and Pluto jumps at him.
"Don't be dirty though. I don't want kiddies running round" he chuckles.
"Seriously Seb!" I chuckle. "I feel sick anyways so Paddy won't be doing anything" I roll my eyes.
Paddy and I walk into the elevator hand in hand, my head on his shoulder. I cover my mouth as I cough. "You feeling okay" he asks pressing the back of his hand to my head. "You're warm"
"Can I have you're phone for a second?" I asks. He nods taking it out of his pocket and handing it to me.
He smiles as the elevator door opens. I smirk at him and begin to run. I laugh as I run down the corridor holding his phone. He chases me and I reach the door. I see him laughing chasing me. "Lily! I'm going to catch you" he chuckles.
I rush into the hotel room and shut the door but he swings it open and sees me. He runs after me and I make my way to our room. He's getting closer and I hear his laugh.
He quickly catches me and engulfs me into a large hug and I take pictures of him.
"You're a quick sneaky pretty little woman aren't you" he chuckles.

"I love you so much" he kisses my temple.
We sit against the headboard and my head lays on his shoulder. His arm drapes over my shoulder.
"I love you too baby" I respond draping my arm around his waist.
