Kris was happy, very happy that he finally had a way to get Hwa-young without Hakyeon there to protect her and especially at her most vunerable point of the day. Day work would be hard for a vampire because even if Cha was a pureblood and could whithstand the sunlight in the early hours of the morning, she would be absolutely wiped out later on in the night. Also he had an added drain on blood and energy, her and Hakyeon's child was indeed a vampire already for sure, as Chen loyaly informed me. He said she tired when her shift started, as I knew from the hospital records she was admitted with non lethal blood loss and had spent a whole night healing herself. "Jongdae, Cha paid me a visit while you were doing your job. I think you should be careful now, as he will go back to her and tell her you are indeed a spy for me. Keep a low profile and just watch her like you did today but more like a co-worker than the real reason behind your presence at the library.", I warned him accordingly. If he blew his cover to someone else other than her the plan wouldn't be of use, and it would just be a failed espionage attempt. "Yes gege, I shall adjust my position accordingly. What will we do if he comes again and starts a fight like today though, if you don't mind me asking. I don't want to challenge your authority but I feel it better to have a back up plan to put into place if necessary.", Chen replied politely, a hint of fear of being discovered in his strong voice. Kris paused and leaned on one elbow, "I understand Jongdae, at least you have a reason to challenge my actions unlike Jongin. I am able to pull the strings among human society so that no record of your employment neither your presence is recorded. Don't worry my friend, we can disappear completely and carry on operations as normal.", he answered confidently. Chen nodded, inclined his head in Kris's direction and went to his room to do other things.
