Misumi could not stop the flow of heartfelt, hot tears, ot was too much to leave her hanging on a thread as to if her best friend would pull through the major injury and live to be mama Hwa-young as she so often talked about with Hakyeon and us. I found the only way to comfort and relax my despairing wife was sadly to put a sleep spell on her until everyone cleaned up and made their way back to the apartment with their things, and it was not easy to watch in suspense to watch her fall back in a dead faint, into the arms of Sehun. "I'm so sorry Misumi, but you need to let fate work its own spell and accept your friends fate either way it goes, good or bad outcome it cannot be altered by anyone even immortals. Not only will you suffer if Hwa-young dies, everyone who grew to love the motherly figure in our lives so suddenly will be sad, and Hakyeon may end up more depressed than before if even possible, he had no reason to live and saw his vampire life as a curse. I can't watch him suffer again, so many times we found him unconcious from lack of blood and as much as it appears I hate him, I care for him like the brother I never met.", I said quietly, wiping away one of my own tears while stroking her hair. Maybe the reality of living a life between life and death or cursed with immortal existence was catching up, and I would be forced to witness the people I had grew to know as my blood family pass away while I watched on the sideline. When Hakyeon called and was able to confirm definitely that poor Hwa-young was indeed fine, the tears stopped suddenly from the equally unhappy Misumi and the brigh smile I knew and loved was back to ease the pain of life again.  Nevertheless, she was not back to normal and showed many signs of simple human anxiety, it hurt me to see her still not happy and overshadowed by a huge amount of doubt about if she was still aunt Mi.  "You're back Misumi, thank goodness. I know how much you are worrid about Hakyeon's new wifey, aka your best friend, so if you eat all your ramyun like a good girl, we could maybe go visit her and N tonight. However, I will only go if you eat the rest of the dinner and not hurt yourself because Hwa-young is hurt possibly, we still have to be parents too you know.", I offered, in a vain effort to to encourage her to finish dinner properly. She had not been eating properly and leaving food behind of meals trying to ditch the sick feeling she detested so thoroughly, not succeeding most of the time and losing weight from dropping snacks for sleep, but this tme she aate the whole plate of kimchi spaghetti faster than I found it possible to move towards the door. She was standing in the hall with her black fur coat and boots on for ages, and was starting to moan because I kept her waiting so long. "Ohh Leo darling, I can't wait to see my bestie again. Do you think we could see their adorable little Yeonnie on one of those weird and too complicated for me to fully understand the workings of ultrasound thingy's the doctors do in hospital?", she squealed excitedly, chatting incessantly on the way.
