PYRMONT KEEP his distance after Dessert punched him and slapped him.

It's not because he's afraid of her but he just doesn't want to anger her more and get into argument with her before the deal.

If all goes well, they should be in a better relationship than what they have now. This one they have right now is toxic. He doesn't want it to continue and Vegas later sees it.

Hindi niya lang alam kung bakit ganito na lang kung pakitunguhan siya ng babae. Ito naman ang nang-iwan at nanloko pero ito pa ang galit sa kanya.

Pagkarating ng parking lot ng Crown's cruise line office building ay mabilis itong lumabas na ikinailing niya na lang.

"Follow me," he said, leading the way and didn't bother to walk beside her and hold her once again so as not to rile her up.

She's keeping her distance too. And it's ticking his nerves.

Damn it! Ang dami pa namang lalaking nagtatrabaho sa loob. Pero wala siyang magawa maliban sa madilim ang mukhang pumasok ng kompanya niya at samaan ng tingin ang mga lalaking napapatingin sa dako nila.

Sumakay sila ng pribadong elevator at agad siyang sumandal sa dingding at tinitigan ito.

Nakahilig ito sa dingding at seryosong nakatingin sa pintuan.

"Stop staring," she said.

She can see him through the glass door of the lift.

Pyrmont turned a deaf ear and continued to stare at the woman that puzzles him to no end.

"Bakit ba ang tigas ng ulo mo?" sikmat nito sa kanya.

Pyrmont shrugged. "Hon, you know I'm stubborn as a mule even before. I didn't really change," even that fucking love I have for you never change, he added mentally with a sigh.

Nakita niya lang ang pag-ismid nito at hindi na muling nagsalita pa hanggang sa nakarating sila ng opisina niya kung saan naroon na si Rasmus na nakaupo sa sofa sa sitting space ng opisina niya.

His friend is in his suit and tie. Looking like an attorney and not some random guy that has nothing to do with his life then look for trouble.

"Hey bud," bati sa kanya ni Rasmus at itinago ang hawak nitong cellphone at tiningnan si Dessert at tipid tinanguan. Ni hindi ito tumayo o ngumiti.

"Do you have the documents?" Pyr asked, signing to Dessert to take a sit before he did.

"Yeah," Rasmus opened the folder that was on the coffee table and handed Dessert a few documents. "I'm Attorney Rasmus Hartz one of the Crown's lawyers," seryosong pagkilala ng kaibigan niya. "Since Vegas is an illegitimate child you have all the right of custody that's stated in Art. 176 of the Family Code; that an illegitimate child shall be under the parental authority of the mother. However, Pyr has visitorial rights over his child and you cannot deprive him of visitation rights over his child."

"I have no intention of depriving him attorney, as long as he promises not to let Vegas down," Dessert replied, eyes on the documents.

"If that so, Pyr have already signed a letter of his oath," his friend handed the letter he made and signed just this morning.

Mabilis na binasa iyon ng dalaga saka tumango matapos siyang sulyapan.

"Now, are the agreement for Pyrmont's rights as a father. He has stated a few things that he would want to exercise and the result of this will solely depend on you. We do hope you think and be open to accepting the things stated here," Rasmus handed another document.
