"YOU OKAY, hon?"
His arms draping over her shoulder before kissing her cheek.
"Hon, I can see you are worried," he pointed out.
Pytmont sighed, holding her hand he confess, "I asked a few people to remove them from any government position, hon."
He nodded. He has no plan on lying on her.
"Why?" mahina nitong tanong.
"Because they failed you from the very start. I told you what happened to me and what I become months after we broke up but my parents stayed beside me. In every mistake and disappointment I made, they stayed and guide me. Helping me so I wouldn't succumb deeper into the dark life. Your parents should have been the same for you when you were at your most vulnerable state . Their reputation shouldn't be their priority before you. If they could fail their child— so are the people. If they could be that inconsiderate towards you, what else to other people?"
They could go to jail for this," she whispered, worried.
"They will not, I have sent people to make sure that they will not go to jail."
Dessert look at him. "What if they struggle financially? Their business could lose profit because of this."
Pyrmont caress her cheek. "Hon, stop worrying... I promise, they will only lose their position but they will stay wealthy like they are now. I know you wouldn't like it if they will plummet to poverty, so I have plans for that matter," he assured. "Don't worry, okay? They will continue living an affluent lifestyle but this time it would be only supported by their business and not from corruption. Sad to say, hon, but my men found evidence of corruption and graft. It is not a big amount but for many who's working their ass off to pay bills and taxes it is huge. I have given my money to pay whatever they steal from the people but I want them to be out of politics or any government position."
Bumuntong-hininga ito saka sumandal sa katawan niya. "You should have asked them to pay it themselves. I've heard them talk about stuff I know that is wrong and corrupt that's why I have no qualms if they lose their position in the government.
"I doubt they don't. The oldest of them is twenty-six. That half-brother of yours is a headache, I heard. He is doing drugs," he informed.
