YOU AND BAJI exited the shrine together.
"Why did you not like the idea of me joining Toman?" you asked quietly, catching his attention.
His steps halted, "I guess I told you why."
"But if I learn to figh--"
He held his hand up for you, signalling you to stop, "We will discuss that sometime later."
"Okay." you mumbled and he shot a smile at your way. It's not like you're my dad.
As you two walk, a black stray cat started roaming around Baji and then began rubbing itself against his feet.
Baji revealed a very beautiful and genuine smile and picked up the cat enveloping it into his embrace as he petted its head softly causing the cat to close its eyes and purr contently.
"It's so cute." you murmured, wanting to pet it too.
Baji nodded, still petting the cat. "Long time no see, Miss Soba."
You snorted at the name.
He narrowed his eyes at you, "What's so funny?" he demanded with a frown.
"Totally not it's name." you replied.
"What?! I think it's a pretty cute name!" he exclaimed, offended at your remark. He lifted Miss. Soba's chin, "Right, Miss Soba?" she meow-ed in agreement.
